"Taking the words straight from my mouth, aren't we James? Nevertheless, I will say at this very moment that the Global Liberation Army is now officially recognized as the military force of Terra Nullius and its supported clients in North Africa, the East African Federation, and Madagascar," he replied with a yawn at the end. "You are starting to bore me."

"I understand that you may find this process dull, sir." James replied with a nod of his head to acknowledge his behaviour. "However, it is necessary, I'm sad to say. As ruler of Terra Nulius, were you aware that the attacks on Mecca and Rome were going to occur?"

Omar thought furiously to his response. He had to word it right to make it sound believable, while retaining innocence towards it.
"Like any other leader of a country, there will always be the extremists who go under my gaze. I will admit to the theft of nuclear materials from Inshas, but it was for commercial energy purposes. I was planning to build nuclear reactors to power Terra Nulius and save energy. But, someone else had other plans."

"I see, that's most regrettable." James asked with a frown. "May I ask what your current diplomatic stance is on the nations represented in this room?"

"China threatens Terra Nulius' sovereignty in an open war against us, and we must protect ourselves by any means necessary. Even if it must break Geneva Protocol." He then turned to look at Jurgen, thinking on his response to the ECA.
"The ECA and I are not in the best of terms. The United States remains neutral, although if Steven wants war against my people, I will defend them. Russia has done nothing in terms of affecting Terra Nulius." A loud chuckle was heard from Dmitry's corner before Omar continued.
"The nations of the world believe that the Global Liberation Army is extremist and dangerous to the world. I aim to show you all that we are not here to bring harm. We wish only for peace in Africa, with no imperialism from other nations affecting us."

"I see, that is most appreciated, sir." James replied with a smile and a nod before frowning. "I would also like to thank you, Omar. You've been most helpful."

Omar turned back to the judges in confusion before turning back to James.
"Please, what does this have to do with the current list of charges against me?" Omar asked in curiosity. Eddie was looking at the British representative, listening to his every word while he questioned Omar.

"Well, first of all..." James began sadly. "You need a better lawyer." He turned towards Eddie and frowned before speaking. "The Rome Statute is the legal document that enshrines the crimes that Omar Al-Ghazi is on trial for. Article 25, Section 3 explains that for an individual to be culpable of a war crime, they must satisfy one of six things. - Commits such a crime, whether as an individual, jointly with another or
through another person, regardless of whether that other person is
criminally responsible. - Orders, solicits or induces the commission of such a crime which in fact
occurs or is attempted. - For the purpose of facilitating the commission of such a crime, aids, abets
or otherwise assists in its commission or its attempted commission,
including providing the means for its commission - In any other way contributes to the commission or attempted commission
of such a crime by a group of persons acting with a common purpose. Such
contribution shall be intentional and shall either:- Be made with the aim of furthering the criminal activity or criminal
purpose of the group, where such activity or purpose involves the
commission of a crime within the jurisdiction of the Court. - Be made in the knowledge of the intention of the group to commit
the crime.
In respect of the crime of genocide, directly and publicly incites others to
commit genocide.
Attempts to commit such a crime by taking action that commences its
execution by means of a substantial step, but the crime does not occur
because of circumstances independent of the person's intentions.
But how are these six points relevant, you might ask?"
James turned back towards Omar sternly.
"The answer is point 2, Mr. Al Ghazi. You as the Commander of The GLA and ruler of Terra Nulius have control of not only the armed forces, but the diplomatic policy of your country. You stated to us without hesitation that you are completely fine with breaking the Geneva Convention and are currently in a state of war with China. Your diplomatic policy of aggression towards those that wish to allegedly "disturb the peace" of Africa means that you provided the seeds of non-verbal approval for your forces to take action."
James slammed his fist down onto his podium.
"Regardless of whether you desired the nuclear attacks to occur, the kidnapping of men, women and children, the murder of innocent lives... Your diplomatic policy induced others to do so. As such, under Article 25, Section 3, Subsection 2... You are just as culpable as those that planted those bombs... Killed those people... Kidnapped those children."
He then turned solemnly towards the judges and with a heavy sigh, lifted up his arms and said.
"Need I say more?"

Can't let anyone win(OOC: Listen only up to 1:11) Omar looked in disbelief at the British lawyer that had dumbfounded him. He thought that he had made his plan foolproof. In the end, he would be proven guilty, and he would have to endure the harsh prison cells once more. But, Omar's right eye began to twitch. Something began to rise, and Omar stood to his feet, chuckling. "You know, I actually was thinking that you were defending me. That you saw what others did not. The good I am trying to do...but like these other bullheaded, imperialist f#$ks, you have to see only the bad! ONLY THE BAD!" Omar hadn't yelled as such in a long time. His throat hurt as his voice rose. "You humiliated me! You make me out to seem like the man who does wrong, when in truth, all of you are equally garbage! Do you want a confession? I will give you one!" Omar began stepping down, and Eddie put a hand on his client's shoulder, only for the terrorist to shrug it off. " I am the one who ordered those nuclear weapons to be detonated! I am responsible for millions of deaths! And I am indeed what you believe to be a terrorist! But I do it for the good of my people!" Omar then took a deep breath and then screamed before jumping at the British lawyer. Omar began to strangle and throttle the British lawyer as soon as he was on top, screaming that he could not loose at the top of his lungs. Everyone stood to attention and security came in to pull the terrorist off of him. Eddie went back to Omar to pull him off, only to be shoved off. Omar was then apprehended and as he struggled, he pulled off and pushed Mang Yu, the Chinese minister, out of the way to get his chair. Omar then took the chair and threw it at the lawyer as he was dragged off. James was struck dead on as he was getting back up. " You cannot do this to me! I will make you all bleed! You will bleed, Russian dog! You will bleed Chinese imperialist! And you will bleed Adler! You will all bleed and suffer for what you have done to my people!" As he was dragged out, he was knocked out cold by the security and was beginning to be dragged back to his cell. There was blood on the ground, and everyone was in an uproar. Dmitry was startled by Omar's outburst, standing frozen in place with an air of fear. Mang Yu was looking around extremely nervously, trying to find escape routes should similar events occur, and the judges were calling for order in the courtroom.

James fell to the floor, his head bleeding from the location the chair had struck. He was incredibly dazed and in a great deal of pain, but not dead or severely wounded.

Jürgen was unfazed by Omar's anger. He was used to it, on and off the battlefield. When he saw him jumping towards the new arrival, after he was knocked out, he immediately jumped into action to help the new arrival out. Making sure he would be alright after, he then looked to everyone. "Pah. Unsicherer schwein-hund." He stated after Omar was knocked out. He cleared his throat a moment before looking to everyone in the room. "Only an insecure sociopathic naracisst bumsen-junge would lose his cool in an important event such as this. However, if anyone needs physical evidence that Omar is indeed guilty of warcrimes that he is charged off, then I have it in spades." He stated. "If someone could bring down the projection screen..." He requested. To which, someone did just that, and he plugged in a small flash-drive, and clicked on an icon. before clicking enter, he turned to the crowd. "If any of you can stomach what might be shown, then either one, you've a far stronger will than I do, and for me, that is saying something, or, you're just as depraved as he is. I shan't name names, and I do hope it is the former." He sipped on a glass of water before clicking enter and attempting to regulate his breath.
upon clicking enter, this happens on screen. After the video starts, he immediately got back to his seat, put in ear plugs, averted his gaze, and sipped on water.

James thanked a nearby security guard who'd provided him with an ice pack before calmly watching the footage. He had been involved with grim and gruesome cases, but even this caused him to close his eyes and look down. The combined trauma of the head wound he had suffered and the video was too much for him to cope with at once.

Mang Yu continued to stand, ready to leave if he needed to, but he watched the video. It was disgusting. Why Premier Wu decided not to come and testify against Omar himself was beyond him. But as he watched the video, he began to understand. Omar was more than any terrorist. He was a monster that didn't deserve life, and his attack proved it.
"Your honors, I must emphasize that what just happened is more than enough cause to begin deciding on that...thing's fate! Now is the time to decide! Who are we sending Omar to, and for how long?!"
Dmitry merely nodded in agreement before taking a gulp.
"M-may I step out for a moment, your honors?"

When the clip finished, he got up, clicked the x, and took the flashdrive out. He knew it was gruesome, but that's why he needed to share it, to show how much of a monster Omar really was.
"Und das, meine freunde, ist die einzige seite, die Omar aufrichtig hat (and that, my friends, is the only side Omar truly has). While I wish the worst upon him, it is but up to the Europe's Justices to decide his fate."

After a few minutes of silence from the courtroom, the judges, showing varying degrees of disgust after having to witness what Jürgen Adler had on the USB stick, were struggling to find words to express their reaction. Finally, the chairperson cleared their throat. "In light of what we've seen in this courtroom today." They began. "We do believe it would be prudent to render a verdict, since not only was the representative for The United Kingdom able to extract a confession during cross examination of the defendant, but the defendant then publicly confessed, followed by the evidence provided by ECA Commander Jürgen Adler . The court finds the defendant, Omar Al-Ghazi ..." "The court is adjourned. Sentencing of the defendant and whom will have the... 'honour' of incarcerating him will be decided at a later date."
