((OOC: Clearly no one wishes to move forward as the judges, so I will be doing so... Just to help break the eternal silence.))
The judges, seven of whom were female, the rest male, looked gravely at The Grand Warlord. They then exchanged glances before the chairperson, a French woman, responded.
"Omar Al Ghazi," She began with a hint of spite and venom. "If that's your true name... You stand in this court room due to a vast list of war crimes charges. Examples of these being torture of prisoners of war and civilians, taking hostages, intentional killing of civilians and prisoners of war, pillaging and most disturbingly... The breaking of The Geneva Protocol that prohibits the use of gas and other bacteriological methods of warfare."
After listing only a few of the crimes Omar had committed, she took a breath and rolled her eyes before asking the necessary question.
"How do you plead in regard to these charges?"

Omar knew that his crimes had been documented and counted by various intelligence agencies all over the globe. He had to do something that would help in keeping him from facing prison. Although he did not wish to admit it, he had to suck down his superiority and grovel to them.
"I plead not guilty on grounds of insanity. I am not competent to face the charges or sentence given."

The French Chief Justice nodded. She talked with her fellow judges. She then spoke: "Very well. We shall take into consideration your.. state of mind. Dr. Böhm, what do you have to say about the accused's fitness to stand trial?" Dr. Böhm looked at the judge from the desk he was sitting in: "Your Honorables, my evaluation of Omar al Ghazi has shown that he is indeed insane. However, for the purposes of this trial, the insanity plea is invalid. He has shown that he knows that he was hurting these people, and did not feel a "need" for it, but a "want" for it. His worldviews and paranoia do not have any impact in his ability to stand a fair trial, therefore I ask that the trial continue." "Thank you Doctor" the Chief Justice stated. After more discussion, she told Omar: "We have agreed that your Insanity plea is invalid. Do you have anything else to say?"

Omar grumbled before realizing that his plea wouldn't help him in the International Court of Justice.
"I would like to say that I did not feel a desire to hurt those innocents. I would like to be psychologically evaluated in order to know if the insanity plea is truly invalid here, or if I am to be destined to suffer the same fate as murderers and thieves. Until I am deemed competent to stand trial for the unfortunate actions that I have committed..."
"Objection your honors!" Dmitry yelled in protest to Omar's words. "You already confirmed that the insanity plea is invalid in this case! I believe that it is in the interests of the world for Omar Al Ghazi to stand trial for his crimes against humanity without grounds for insanity being relevant in this case!" The judges briefly discussed before the Chief Justice nodded.
"Objection sustained," she replied. "However, given that he is being given a fair trial, I must confer with the other justices of the court if the defendant is eligible for a lawyer to assist in his 'defense,'"
"Thank you," Omar smirked at Dmitry across the room, and the Russian President nearly stood up, only to sit back down at the request of his guards.

(I think I'll play the part of the justices using this account, since it would take forever otherwise.)
The Justices convened. It took them a while, but when they were done, they asked Omar: "Do you have anyone who is a certified lawyer available?"
Omar smirked, and began to speak.

"I do not have one on hand at the moment, chief justice, but I do have one who should be here any moment in order to..." the door opened to reveal a tall, lanky man with glasses, heavily combed hair, and a briefcase carrying documents on Omar's crimes. "Sorry I'm late, your honor. The security was murder. The name is Eddie: Eddie Nashton. I was called by Omar Al Ghazi to defend him as per his one phone call. I hope I'm not intruding." The lawyer took his seat next to Omar and opened the briefcase, separating manila folders.

With a burst of gunshots to supress the aproaching police, the three pathfinders were chased by the local authorities. In their gymbags they had their confiscated equipment.Turning back the third pathfinder threw a flashbang blinding the officers, giving them a window to slide off the hook. The second pathinder ran onto the street as a car stopped after bumping into him even if she stepped on the break as hard she could.Getting out of the car to check on the man, the pathfinder who was holding his knee grined. It was a rouse, with a punch he struck the woman down and took out a sack. While the pathfinder was busy confiscating the civilians car the third one put the gym bags Into the car.The three drived out into a dead end street. "Lets suit up Shadows" The first one said. Then the (First one) pathfinders leader asked why he took the woman rather then just killing her. "Oh you'll see" he said looking at the woman with some duct tape, muffing her dutch pleas to let her go. The target is on its way here, the other has already arrived. "Already?" one of them asked Yes, Im afraid so, he came by a flying hunk of junk but by another route. "Well then hes probably been entrenched by now, well good bye to the bonus" Only the lizard needs to die.If we spook the wolf we still get paid extra, now focus and assemble your gear "Vintovka Snayperskaya Spetsialnaya, thats a mouthfull, where'd our boys get theese anyways?" The third pathfinder asked while assembling his rife. If I'd have to guess it was either from madagaskar when the yuri surrenderd and got shipped back home or the black market, why you want to keep it? "I might, not ever day you get a job that pays big bucks like this and this might be the tale I spill in thrity years when Im retired to get some attention." We're the shadows, we dont like to attract attention, now lets hope langley didnt f*ck up and stand us up on our ride and pass. The Shadows and the woman found the randevu point for the car ,quickly blending into the general public as made they made their way to the airport awaiting their guest.
The doors slammed open as Steven came In and fixed his tie.Cameras flashed with Steven giving his extreemly photogenic look and winking at the public with a smile and giving them a thumbs up. Hello? This thing working allright then, Your honor, Steven did a slight bow before starting. Members of the press, my respective peers and fellow man, to every man woman and child that can hear my voice.Your prayers have been answerd for now, now the sins of this monster will be judged and he will be be brought to justice. As the first withness I'd like to say that I am not a man above others, As much as I do redeem my herritage as a FREE American who seeks to do right. My emotions towards this man is not something I can keep to myself, unlike my poker faced predessor.I was up in our joint Space Station on my last trip to space as NASA does not accept political canidates in its ranks when this all happpend. As someone who usually stared into the abyss of space or at mother earth, to Gaia herself I couldnt understand what had happend when I saw the small dot.Which was a raging inferno on the most holy sites deemed by two of the most major religons.Major Tom reported this to ground controll. Ground controll couldnt respond, the stars looked very diffrent after I saw that.As for a fact I tipped my toe into the cold pool of politics to get more funding and recognition of funds to NASA, to research. But after that day, that damned day.....All I wanted to do is to bring this monster to cold justice. How I did that and the consquences of such a ruse and risk to the world stage, is a court room I hope to be in after this trial. As such the orders are given its Captain Rosalinda who should be here to soak the glory, but she has preferd to stay away from the judicial process. As the leader of the NAU and the runner of the torch of liberty I'd like to say this man has used any unconventional and illegal arm he could get his hands of for the same lunacy of a cause the GLA had twenty years ago. This has lead him here, I wish for the judges to be nothing more or less then brutally honest and justs about this.Thank you Steven was seated shortly afterwards with an applaud from the crowd. The artist was done with his black and white sketch to commemerate this momment in history.a

The Judges just stared at Freephoenix, annoyed at this flag-waving speech. The Chief Justice called: "Mr. Freephoenix, are you going to take this seriously and call in an actual witness or have an actual statement? Or are you going to waste the court's time?"

"I think we should let the politicians stay in their corners and let the real legal professionals win the war of the courtroom, wouldn't you agree Steven?" Eddie asked smugly. He then turned to the judges of the court room and smiled once more as Omar leaned in and whispered something intangible to the lawyer. "I call General Adam Brown to the stand as the first witness."

"Invalid request" said the Chief Justice. "Monsieur Nashton, you and your client have not been called to the front. You cannot call a witness." Omar stood up to say something, but after Eddie whispered something to him, he sat back down. The Chief Justice turned towards Freephoenix. "Monsieur Freephoenix, do you have any statements to make regarding the charges made against Omar al Ghazi? Or do you have any witnesses to bring to the stand?"

Steven smugged at the smackdown Omar just received. He was a bit bitter at being insulted, but he didn't let it get in the way of his actions. "I call my first Witness, General Markus Oswald Kane, to the stand."

The President Judge stated to Markus Oswald Kane to sit in the stand. "Alright, the prosecution will now have a chance to question Markus Oswald Kane. Would anyone like to send a lawyer out?" (OOC: Lawyers can be ANYONE not affiliated with the GLA from this point)

Dmitry took a stand and began walking to the stand to question the man before him. He had an idea that the NAU had taken damage estimates and measurements at the sight of Mecca, as they were the first on scene. As he walked up to the stand to see the man in front of him, he turned around, took a deep breath, then turned back. Mr. Kane. I am going to ask you on the situation with the twin nuclear attacks that occurred on June the 11th of 2045. Mr. Kane, do you have documented evidence of the destruction that was witnessed at the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, after American cleanup teams arrived on scene?
