Okay, considering Cell's wishes and the wishes of the GLA and Russia, I've decided to make a list of the various operations in progress or not started. - Operation: Quick and Painless - This operation was a surprise operation to take the region of Tanzania and Kenya, and a cornerstone for Omar's eventual reveal of his own personal full army of Liquidators. In essence, I would prefer this operation to be a phyric victory for the GLA's first part, which was a land operation. The naval operation goes off without a hitch and shows the might of the GLA navy (which, although not ultra powerful, is still a considerable threat due to salvaged battleships). The duration of this battle is a little over the desired time to take (over a week), but it's still a victory for the GLA. - Cameroon & Nigeria - Now this is a difficult one. Although I don't want to loose Cameroon, I also don't want to end up like another Russia (can't touch 'dis, too OP). So, in a difficult decision, after a month or so of terrible fighting against GLA guerilla soldiers, the GLA forces are pushed from Cameroon, but not without a couple victories of our own. The fighting between the GLA and Chinese soldiers for the fourth fear toxin bomb results in its payload nearly being detonated, and therefore, having to be disposed of and destroyed by the Chinese soldiers there. Less Fortunate Sons (connected to Nigeria) ends up with the first official success of Liquidators in combat, and shows as a demonstration of the GLA's capabilities. It also ends with the first use of salvage being taken for the GLA Recycler Program (which begins after the GLA Liquidators return and take the POW trucks and their tech back into Central Africa. However, the end result is an extremely costly victory for China, and the loss of their supply lines going through Chad. - Gabon - This one's fairly obvious. A GLA victory and a costly defeat for the USA. However, we not only recover Karmen Jell (Jarmen Kell), but I get a good amount of Olympian Javelin launchers, a couple bits and bobs of drone tech, etc. Ask Miller for a better explanation. - Madagascar - In my operation plans, I had sleeper cells implanted into the territory that the USA controls. These cells are activated and the USA quickly retaliates. Now the GLA are pushing in further and further, and are bombarding Madagascan ports and cities nearby with naval assistance. The USA leaves Madagascar, and the territory joins the GLA fully. Otherwise, we can keep this one the exact same as it is now. - Christmas Fear Toxin Attack - This is merely an idea for the timejump, as I still want to mirror the previous RP with a Christmas operation. This could be anywhere, and is up to discussion with me and the other faction leaders. - Iron Brothers - Don't know too much about this one. Ask Miller about it. The next few are for Russia. - Cyprus - Solved. Cyprus remains neutral and will continue to remain so. - Finding the "Comrades" - This operation is when the Russian government under the authority of Dmitry Molchanov and his military staff find that the Old Guard are keeping the comatose bodies of the previous president and his cantrev of guards. After a heated battle, the bodies are recovered and Russia goes into a state of civil war, with the Old Guard vs the Russian military. During this operation, Russia also begins overhauling its economic development to something based more upon Sweden: export-based socialism, rather than export-based capitalism. It's a New Deal/Civil War scenario for the RF. As a result, the CSTO also is sparked into civil war with each other. This is all. Feel free to discuss more with me on this, along with the faction leaders.

Oh, one last thing for the GLA. All GLA Black Market debts are fulfilled, GLA supplies for weapons and chemicals are restocked (Fear Toxin included), etc.

Omar are you sure you know what a Phyrric victory means? Basically it's when you 'win the battle but lose the war', where the cost of victory is so high that you end up losing in the end.

Also, don't you think it's important to also get new members on board, or at least get some of our inactive members back? A timeskip will end up just prolonging or delaying the real problem, which is IMO that we don't have enough active members to make this a truly engaging RP.

Okay, to explain, I always thought that a phyrric victory meant just a costly victory. If you want me to be more specific, then I will use "costly" and "phyric" in their respective definitions for warfare.

However, the problem is that people seem to "not have time" or "forget" about us. Most of the inactive members are people who have forgotten that the RP even existed. At least with the timeskip, as you said, we can prolong and finish up unfinished stuff due to inactivity. With Christmas Break coming up, we also may have more of a chance to start and finish new assaults, political dilemmas, etc...as well as make usernames more sparkly.

I hope your right.
I was a bit confused every time you used 'Phyric victory', so thanks for clearing that up. BTW the official definition of Phyric victory is "a victory that inflicts such a devastating toll on the victor that it is tantamount to defeat. Someone who wins a Pyrrhic victory has been victorious in some way. However, the heavy toll negates any sense of achievement or profit. Another term for this would be "hollow victory"." (Wikipedia)

Okay. Thanks for the info on phyric victories. I'll make sure to use that definition better now. So, to continue to clarify, are you alright with the new terms that the GLA has set up for the current situations that need to be finished?

Yes. It is. However, because of multiple requests from several members over Skype, I decided to say "coma-induced dream of Voronov."

Yes. It is. However, because of multiple requests from several members over Skype, I decided to say "coma-induced dream of Voronov." That's ok, but you also need to include the other three : Nikola Pasic , Suvorov Sukhoi and Sergei Varennikov with the same Coma Dream. Also, when you make the Topic, Include a link to Interdimensional .

With the time skip, both of my characters will be back. You can expect both the Fleet Admiral and the General of the Marines to be back in action.
