0020 Hours, August 7th 2045 Nigerian/Cameroon Front Fighting continued as August 7th rolled by, marking over a week since the original attack had started. The Chinese went from the brink of victory, to the brink of defeat, and now they are trying to claw their way back to the top. The GLA had begun their assault on the fourth undetonated bomb by making an advance on the Chinese left flank. "There are too many! We must retreat!" Lieutenant Shan gave the order, and the MG positions on the West bank of the river began falling back to the village. The left flank was retreating. General Yun, back at the bombsite, was planning his next moves. The West-bank of the river was his weakest spot, since the river blocked the way for mobile reinforcements. The GLA knew this very well, and exploited it to their advantage. "Lieutenant Shan! Order the two MG platoons to take positions in the village. I want the buildings closest to the bridge garrisoned as quickly as possible." He ordered his motorized platoon to move into the village as well. "Captain Qi, set up defensive positions on the other side of the bridge. If the west-bank soldiers need to fall back, I want you to cover their retreat. But there will be no retreat on this side of the river. The village is a crucial position for this operation." His men were getting anxious, and his situation, more precarious. Luckily, time was on his side. The more he delays the GLA, the better it is for him. "Let not a single GLA soldier cross that bridge!"

"It appears the Chinese have reinforced their stronghold around the bridge just ahead of our forces. We need to get past them by any means, or make their defense a waste of time and resources, and force them to retreat." This was, as to be expected, not an easy task. Under the cover of night, GLA militia moved as close as possible to the Chinese defenses without being within range. Once there, they proceeded to knock rocks and earth in large clumps into the river. The resultant splash gained the attention of the Chinese defenders, and the 40-odd militia lay low to the ground, making as little noise as possible.
Chinese scouts approached, investigating the noise, and it was at this point that the milita pounced. Without using their guns, they were able to subdue the scouts quietly and take their radios. They took the soldier's uniforms, put them on, and walked unopposed up to one of the garrisoned structures. The two militants with their caps drawn low and bombs under their coats passed through the building, and up to around 50 feet from the bridge itself. It was not far at all now, and the two militia walked as close as they could to the bridge. A Chinese soldier stopped them, and a few moments later, they were both at gunpoint. However, the militants were able to throw their explosives from here, and did so, moments before being gunned down by the soldiers.
There followed a deafening silence, and then a violent explosion, which did not destroy the bridge, but made it impossible at least for any vehicles or soldiers to cross.
"The deed is done my brothers, take this moment of distraction and infiltrate the town." The other militia moved quickly to cover close to the garrisoned structures, and so the firefight began.

The Warzone GLA and Chinese fight each other to a stalemate. The fourth bomb doesn't detonate, but it nearly does, and the Fear toxin charge becomes contaminated as a result, leading to its disposal. Neither China nor the GLA recover it.
