St. Louis:Kidal Region & Gao Region Dara:Ségou Region & Kayes Region Bakel:Tombouctou Region 12th March, 2047 - Senegalese-Mauritanian Border
A week had passed since Sayeed had made his demand for the ECA, USA and China to leave Africa. However, no such movements had been done. It was time for him to follow through on the consequences he claimed would occur. As the dawn rose on the 12th of March, 2047. The border between GLA held Mauritania and Senegal burst into life as the partially mobilised 2nd Hornet Army began its invasion of US held Senegal. A force of 50'000 vehicles and over 30'000 soldiers poured across the border. They then split into three groups. Kidal & Gao Regions paired up and advanced on the port of St. Louis, totalling 20,000 vehicles and 13,750 insurgents. Ségou & Kayes Region were paired to seize the rail yards at Dara, while Tomboctou Region set out on its own to capture the airport at Bakel.

Brakna Region & Gorgol Region To the surprise of the GLA invaders, their first three targets, St. Louis, Dara and Bakel, were completely undefended and they drove in without a shot fired. The American Imperialists were clearly caught napping and the commanders capitalised on this. They swiftly drove forth. They were now the masters of just below half of the country's strategic locations. Sayeed was most pleased upon hearing of the lack of activity on the part of the US. He authorised the immediate reinforcement of the current forces in Senegal with the addition of the reserves, three zones from Mauritania. - Adrar Region
- Brakna Region
- Gorgol Region
The force, now composed of 80,000 vehicles & 55,000 soldiers, split into four groups, each consisting of two zones and therefore comprised of 20,000 vehicles and 13,750 soldiers. They were to drive forward and capture the rest of Senegal, therefore surrounding the currently safe Gambia and threatening the border of

Gambia had fallen. Another nation was now liberated. The jubilation was beyond levels the fighters could even imagine in their wildest dreams. Everything couldn't be any better than they were now as every city they ventured into was empty, devoid of the American presence they believed would be waiting for them, ready to strike back with technology that they couldn't even fathom. Sayeed ordered a brief pause on the Senegalese-Guinea border so that they could prepare.

Elwood Akroyds orders were simple. Continuously death from above. As the USAF had received their orders, the planes took off, 1 by 1, from multiple locations. Their objective: bomb everything GLA related. Many planes from different types and origin took off from their respective airfields. The lack of US forces were not on their hands, but they would bring the bill to the GLA. If you were high in the sky, you could hear the thunderous sounds of their engines. However, one plane is quicker than the other. As first the A10’s appeared from the skies. As they reached their destinations, they found out that Gambia just felt to the GLA terrorists. “This is Wing Leader to Santa’s Helpers. Enemy has broken through the Gambia-South Senegal borders. Make sure to hit every group of forces! Be aware of GLA anti air units! Deploy countermeasures is recommended.” The planes split from 1 large group in 8 smaller groups. When they reached their respective group to deal with, the noses dropped and in a dive they started their attack run. Rockets were fired and the machine guns kept on shooting. It appeared that some of the GLA groups were packing quite the numbers of AA. The US A10's were forced to discontinue their run which solved on several places not the desired casualties “Own casualties report?!” “Wing Leader here. None of Santa’s Helpers felt, however, some are quite damaged. Repairs required! Several of Santa’s Helpers were forced to abandon their attack run before they could give the kiddies their presents.” “This is Wing Leader to Eagle’s Nest. Attack run completed. Casualties estimated are not as much as we are hoping for. GLA in common stagnated a little on their current site. Bring the Big Birds!” “Roger Wing Leader, return to base..”
