To put it bluntly. At this point, a certain someone has decided to abuse plot armor to no end to escape any actual loss due to mistakes and that same certain someone has basically refused to acknowledge it.
Therefore I suggest a simple change.
1: Generals and other player characters are not immortals protected by some inane plot armor. Killing them randomly is still prohibited, but placing them in the battlefield means placing them in harms way, and using them as some kind of hostage to avoid serious attacks does not work. Otherwise what's to stop us from making grunts a PC character and then throwing them at impossible odds and winning anyway because they can't die?
2: If you die, roll a new character, doesn't even have to be different. The old one died. That happens. You could use the same account if nessecary.
3: Just because you're a PC doesn't mean you can escape all the reprecussions of your actions. If you've made a mistake and been captured, you cannot simply demand to be freed. If you are wounded, those wounds will continue to exist even when it's not in your interests for them to do so.
4: Without justification, threats based on OOC actions and tying one faction to another OOCly for your own benefit is not allowed. being in high positions in multiple factions and using them in concert with eachother is abusive and cheap.

Charming. Not even going to mention WHO it was when you so blatantly want to kill off a character of mine without consent from the player himself. I find this both an insult and an excuse to just self-impose your own ego upon me. So, let me get some things out of the way before things spiral further out of control.
1. I understand that player characters are NOT immortal. I made this EXTREMELY well-known in Wrath of God when Omar made the mistake of appearing publicly when he made an enemy of everyone. He barely made it out alive and currently sits on Death's Doorstep, with the only thing barring his way out of Death's clutches being a respiratory bypass and a shit-ton of painkillers, but Omar's been in situations like this before, and he's gotten out plenty of times either on a lack of evidence or Liquidator assistance. He's been doing this since the 2020s, which shows that he definitely has experience escaping law and justice. He's just overconfident, cocky, and that's what's got him caught. His vanity made him take a risk, twice. But after the trial? Good luck ever getting to him.
2. I doubt I could ever top Omar in terms of cruelty, malice, and hatred for human life aside from using Kassad, who is his current protege and technical successor, but in truth, I've already said multiple times that Omar will escape the trial. Unscathed? No. Not unless everyone in the prison or detention center is a Liquidator, and I highly doubt that possibility myself, even though I have said that Omar's got eyes and ears everywhere. Alive? Yes. Omar will escape and be back to bring chaos and pain to the world, and give an excuse for everyone to fight someone without the nuclear option being an ever-present danger. Let me remind you that without the GLA, who would everyone be fighting militarily? Russia? Only if you were a moron. Europe? Look to Russia. China? For what? USA? This is probably the most likely, but still, why? It makes no sense from a political standpoint here (aside from Steven's and Voronov's points of views).
3. I understand this, and I'm willing to discuss on the prospects of what other injuries are to follow if he escapes. But once again, talk to me about it. We can discuss physical repercussions of his escape, but I will not allow you to do so without my consent, and I will not acknowledge anything regarding the harming of my character unless this is discussed with me here. Let's use the Roleplay setup to discuss this kind of stuff, rather than on Skype where tempers flare WAY too easily.
4. Where exactly did I ever tie my GLA character to my Russian character? This is conjecture and accusation. I may have already been planning on chewing out the US for making an ass out of Dmitry at Baikonur, but that's for an entirely different reason than OOC grudges/spite. And I know the rules of being in multiple factions. Sam made them VERY clear to me, and I would never use abuse them for my own benefit. You can ask around to see if I've abused the rules in the slightest, and you will get the same answer: no, I have not. It makes no sense from the logical and story standpoints of the roleplay.
Now that I've clarified everything, let me be perfectly honest when I say this. I don't like being accused of actions I have not done, insulted, or any other such thing. And before you say I am a hypocrite, I am not. I do so only when I have been insulted myself. An eye for an eye, in the very sense of it. And please, do not let OOC grudges and problems become the pertinent part of your character's actions in the RP. Finally, I have NOT given ANYONE consent to kill off Omar, and I do not think that it is to be discussed anymore on "how he should die." End of story. Read this over multiple times, and follow the instructions accordingly. I am not acknowledging any OOC Skype chats.

A RP character is tied to the account. This means that if the character dies, the account will be locked permanently and will not be allowed to participate in the RP. This was done to bring permanence, like if someone saw past RP content, they can see what that specific character did. This is not possible if an account takes many character appearences. Thus, killing a character means you can no longer specifically use that character account. About the Omar case :- As it stands it is completely pointless to kill him off. It's important to know that Omar is an RP character roleplayed by the roleplayer naga. However the current problem is that The GLA Faction has only one active member and that is naga only. This means by default he will be the faction leader. If GLA had more members, then it would have been ok cause someone else would have become the faction leader. So if Omar dies, naga will make another character, say Kassad who will become the faction leader. This to me looks like nothing has changed except the change of masks. To top it off, it again reduces the influence of the character and will make the RP complicated with many irrelevant characters. In the end I would like to say that characters should be used in the RP for as long as possible and character changes should be done rarely. As the situation stands, Omar will escape the trial even if it's illogical. A Possible Solution :- However, would be to 1) make George Algernon Pound the GLA Faction Leader, Let Omar die in his escape from the trial, which means naga leaves GLA And make Dmitry Dmitry Molchanov the Russian Faction Leader officially and I think naga did want this to happen. This would solve the faction leadership problems along with the multiple faction account problems. If the two parties agree : naga and retro, then the current leader setup would be :- USA : bruce China : thecell GLA : retroliser Russia : naga ECA : gojira SAP : ramon And the entire problem would be hopefully solved. The current scenario is pretty good for naga to to go to Russia. In the end it's inevitable for naga to choose between Russia and GLA. As a concluding note I have not seen any abuse from naga with multiple factions. If you think this is true please give me the evidence where this has happened in the RP.

I would like to point out that I, as the user of both George Algernon Pound and Edmund Wilson, I'm already the leader of a civil war faction. Would this change the situation?

P.S: If naga does not agree with Omar dying then Omar can get life imprisonment. This would archive the account, but naga can use it later on if he wants to.

The problem I see here is that I've already told everyone that Omar will escape. As I said, if he is not to escape unscathed like all the other times before, then I would personally like to discuss here with people on the severity of his injuries.

Enough to put him out of commision for a while ? Then he can be archived. I would like to point out that I, as the user of both George Algernon Pound and Edmund Wilson, I'm already the leader of a civil war faction. Would this change the situation? I think it would be ok as it's an independent faction. Solving the main faction problems are more important now. Though both factions co-operating may be possible as one is independent and minor faction. The problem happens when two major factions start working together under one person.

We're already delayed by WEEKS in terms of the trial. I was planning to have him out of commission, but manipulating events behind the scenes. But, since we have been delayed by laziness and real life, I will not have him be archived because of his injuries.

At this time, I'm not ready to take on the responsibility of a proper faction. However, I thank you for the offer, The Warzone.

If I may please.
There are plans to kill Omar. The event that I am planning (and rewriting because the previous one relied on a lot of railroading) will KILL OMAR. No matter what. I will also die, either through killing myself or through an epic battle.

I do hope that has the consent of Omar, Jonathan. Otherwise, your plans will be for nothing.

However, it is a BIG event. Not really just any event. This event switches long-term goals from what is normal among factions to all help the US against Omar.

Steven Freephoenix is told by Omar that the answer to everything isn't "Nanomachines, son"?
