Personality: Zhang Ping is the epitome of loyalty to the Party. His devotion to the Chinese Communist Party, and to the Premier himself, is nothing short of absolute. Despite his absolute loyalty, however, he is a very questionable and very dangerous person to be around, as he typically does not tell the entirety of what he knows. He is also an avid consumer of wine and possibly other alcoholic products, and given his age, this can be a severe danger to his own health. However, is kind and considerate to those he treats as his friends, believing that the honor of friendship is sacred and should not be broken. He also tends to be a "suck up" to those higher up in the Party, usually being the one to do their dirty work and take the blame for it. However, that is not to say he has no higher morals of his own. He is well-known for being protective of his wife and son, and will even take "time off" to spend as much time with them as he can, usually traveling to the United States to meet with them. He has an iron will and an indomitable determination in war, as is seen with the soldiers under his command. However, despite his addiction to wine and his absolute devotion to the Party, he is a good man and will do what it takes to make the world right (in his eyes).
History: Known to the GLA as the "Dragon of the Elements," Zhang Ping is the current Chief of PLA General Staff, having been so since early March of 2046. Born to a family of farmers in Chengdu, and despite having enough money to live a decent life, he wanted a higher position in life. Eventually, after leaving his family home and through arduous studying, Ping was admitted into the PLA Academy of Military Science at the age of 37 for his ingenuity and his technical skill with various arms of the People's Republic of China and its surrounding nations. Soon thereafter, he graduated and joined the People's Liberation Army as a corporal under the authority of General "Tigress" Leang of the People's Liberation Army Special Operations Forces. He proved to be an invaluable commander during the Global War on Terror, and proved his loyalty to the Party by helping Chinese authorities apprehend the rogue general after it was found that she had been smuggling American and GLA technologies and bribing soldiers of both sides to fight on her own cause. She was eventually dishonorably discharged due to a convincing testimony from Zhang, and he was promoted to General; he has since commanded the disgraced general's forces personally, as well as having command over the People's Liberation Army Special Operations Forces as a whole. After several successful splinter operations against the GLA in Saudi Arabia, and the personal uncovering of one of the derelict bunkers built by the enigmatic Omar Al Ghazi in the 2020s, General Ping has been promoted by Chairman Wu himself to Chief of General Staff.
Eventually, "General" Ping was allowed the use of top secret technologies of the PRC and even given access to the codes to the PRC's "Doomsday Machine," of which controls the entirety of China's vast nuclear arsenal. During his time as Chief of General Staff, he was stationed in Beijing, but after his marriage turned sour and his wife and son left him for the states in hate for his support of the Party's decisions, Zhang Ping requested that he immediately be transferred back to Africa to fight the GLA threat. He was soon sent back to Saudi Arabia to not only combat the GLA in Africa through supporting forces, but against the "Russian Old Guard" in former MEC states and assist the Russians in their efforts to quell the GLA uprisings in the area. Although he would remain there to this day, he supposedly has taken "days off" to visit with his family in America for naught but a few days at a time. Whatever the case, he has been ready to fend off GLA attacks and listen to the Chairman's every wish since.
Personal Life: Aside from his active alcoholism and his various trips to see his family out in America, he has no personal life, as he has dedicated most of it to the Chinese military and the Party. He is married to Mei Ping, of whom was once an officer in the People's Liberation Army, and has a 32-year old son. During his free time, he'll spend it either drinking or with his family.

Long range bombardment units that could even be classified as close to ECA range are used, and highly trained infantry with specialized roles are used more so than vehicular assaults. Like with Omar, I have neither the time or patience to make a whole army description, and will probably require assistance in this.
