Well, perhaps make a chart here like we did with the Faction Heirarchy descriptions, but with 2 instead of the 6. In essence, we'll have one category that states "RotR Canon" and another which has "Warzone Canon." Those would be vertical. Horizontally, you'd have multiple categories, such as simple summaries of the history, the absence of certain weapons in Warzone Canon, and the absence, cameos, or subsequent replacements for RotR canon characters. All in all, we just summarize the main differences and events of the RotR Canon compared to the Warzone Canon, add a few tidbits on character absences or replacements, etc, as well as how each faction functions differently in the RP in comparison to their counterparts in RotR Canon. Sorry if this was a long, confusing explanation, but I think this needs to get off the ground if we're going to get more people here.

What you are suggesting is differentiating the Official ROTR Plot line and our Warzone Plot Line. However there are many problems with this approach. First is the usage of Game content. The game content of ROTR is heavily related to it's plotline. So, if we discard the ROTR plotline, then we will have to make our own individual plot lines on how that Game Content came to exist in the Warzone plotline. For example, let's say a Russian General wants to use Golem Tanks. However the Golem Tank Project was started by General Aleksandr who will not exist in our plotline. So, we will have to make up a plotline where Golem Tanks came into existence. And we will have to do this with every unit and Game Content that is released (ROTR 2.0 is still far away, this means a ton of Game Content is yet to be released). This is very complicated and will take a massive amount of time and effort to integrate into our RP. Another problem is when we have to Re-do plotlines from scratch. This would mean we will have to re-do all the changes that we did before to merge them with the new Warzone plotline. This RP was inspired and based on ROTR. Thus, in my opinion, the best approach would be integration, i.e; we consider the ROTR Plotline and the Warzone plotline to be one and the same. In order to do this, we will need to make up a few things at the Tail end of the Official Warzone Plotline and give it a suitable conclusion. (It will take 1 and half years to release ROTR 2.0 and conclude the plot, we can't wait that long). For this, we will go with things that make the most sense and are logical Conclusions to the ROTR Plotline :- Russia loses the Third World War (This is inevitable to give the ROTR Plotline a suitable conclusion), and is shrunk back to it's original territories. European Continental Alliance regains it's Territories lost to Russia. GLA establishes a stronghold on "The Zone" in Africa. This means from now on their Base of Operations will be "Africa" not "Unknown". China (?) Will need conclusion. USA (?) Will need conclusion. After this we take a 50 Year Timeskip, this will be the Blank Phase which we can manipulate to merge the ROTR Plotline with the Warzone Plotline. We will also use this as a basis for Re-do's of Plotlines (Starting from scratch). Warzone Plotline begins. So in summary :- Third World War ends : Conclusion of ROTR Plotline 50 Years (After Third War Conclusion) Blank Phase : Used to merge the ROTR and Warzone Plotlines and when Plotlines are re-done (Starting from scratch). Warzone Plotline Begins. Our RP will thus only concern itself with what happens in the 50 Years Blank Phase (Which we will reference to) and the Warzone Plotline which starts after that. The advantage with this approach is that we don't have to concern ourselves with the ROTR Plotline, the content and Material will be filled up by the Game Creators. We will only concern ourselves with what happened after the ROTR Plotline concluded and that will be the Warzone Plotline. Edit : Making this into a new thread as this deserves it's own thread. So, does that mean that we're doing a timeskip and disregarding everything that happened in the Warzone Canon? Personally, I'd rather not, as I've spent too much time and effort to loose that to restarting from scratch all over again. To explain, once again, certain characters will be made canon (but put in lesser roles) or replaced. An example would be the Golem, which was created by Aleksandr. Aleksandr, according to Warzone Canon. Aleksandr was placed into the science division with a blank check that he would receive from the highest in the Russian government for both military and civilian developments. However, he would never become the feared general of now-non-existant "Shock Divisions." Another example would be how Omar kills the GLA's "Old Guard" and replaces it with his Liquidators, including Yusuuf, Ibrahim, and the other one (forget his name ). However, Omar salvaged, scrapped, and invested in new technologies that would be of greater benefit to the GLA than anything else. He still keeps GLA stuff that's seen in RotR Plotline canon (like Mercs, battle busses, rebels and tunnel defenders, etc.), but he militarizes them to a much further degree than the true GLA, allowing it to conduct actual battles (somewhat), while still remaining highly unconventional. Merging the timelines together would, yes, be extremely complicated, but that's why we take creative liberties with the plotline here. Here, this is a different canon with different people experiencing different things. We only merge until recently, and then we just do what we do naturally: make war. That's the beauty of the entire Warzone: to deviate from the norm and create our own scenarios with our own endings, and see where the world lies after the carnage. For example, the GLA could expand back into Asia and take Southeast Asian and Western Asian territories. Or China could finally end the GLA's reign of terror once and for all by disorganizing its hold in Africa. Russia could win WWIII. Europe could go to war with America. There are so many possibilities for different outcomes in the Warzone, that merging our timeline with the canon RotR timeline would be silly. We need to make our own canon, if you will.
