Technically, we follow the real life time (in most instances) and how the real countries do their elections. As it is 2045, and Dmitry was elected President in 2040, he has 2 years (in real time) before the next series of elections as President. In that time, you can create a second, diplomat character to pit in an election against the current leader. In the time of a few months (RP-time. Days in real life at most), a new leader will be elected or the old one will remain. Kind of like real politics. Certain factions, however, like the GLA, will not have elections or changes unless they're part of a coup or revolution.

That's essentially a coup, and if you wanted to try it, you'd have to put it as a world event. However, I wouldn't suggest such a thing if you were planning it. The odds would be stacked against you, and given the current circumstances, war may be a reality VERY soon. He may be a politician, but Russia's President is one of the highest-security people on the planet bar the President of the USA.

Sup i was thinking about whether Dmitry is the leader forever or is there like elections or something that can be done to change the leader? Yes, it does change, but the position will be mostly given to the members who are the most active in the roleplay and are responsible. This is because a Faction Leader has a lot more workload than the other faction members. They have to :- 1) Accept new members into their faction and manage their faction user group. 2) They have to keep their faction active. 3) They will have to manage all the affairs of their faction. 4) They will have to manage the layout of the threads in their faction boards (Moderation Powers). 5) They will have to make global decisions to ensure the balance of the roleplay (Judge fights, settle disputes, etc). Basically, the Faction Leaders are equivalent to the Staff of the Roleplay. The only reason why they have not been given moderation powers outside of their faction boards is because : 1) To prevent hypothetical abuse of moderation powers and 2) Usergroup permission problems. The above is the reason why three faction positions have been given to the experienced roleplayers :- Russia : naga or Dmitry MolchanovEurope : retroliser or Archibald StanfordSouth America : dave or Mendoza Chávez De La Hoya CardHowever to test the capability of new members the faction leader position is given to new members also :- North America : legendaryfrost or John Fitzgerald Kennedy IIChina : vannin or Wang Xi JintaoGLA : fritz or Abdul-Al RashidFor now, Dmitry will remain the leader. However with time if you remain active and be responsible then the position will transfer to you.
