2100 Hours - October 26, 2045
Operation: Quick and Painless
The night: ally to many quick-footed assassins of the past, and now the ally to the Global Liberation Army and their efforts to fight against the imperialist infidels invading their new territories. The operation would hopefully go according to plan and everyone would react accordingly to what was expected, but there were no guarantees to the success of this entire operation. It was complicated, but General Aden Yusuuf would be the major difference of this battle. In Omar's eyes, he was a prodigy, and ripe for becoming one of Omar's infamous Liquidators. However, Yusuuf had yet to prove himself worthy of the Warlord's eye, but this battle, whether a success or a failure, would determine if he was ready to lead a charge of the GLA's most powerful military force. Yusuuf watched as GLA military forces began preparing for the assault at midnight. They would drive across the lands of Kenya and drive out any support for the imperialists by showing them what true military power was like. The Scorpion Cells had taught Yusuuf to be as aggressive and as fast as possible, with lots of firepower. Ghille suits and armor-piercing rounds had been requested off of the local black markets, and the drivers of the vehicles had been taught by veterans of the first war in salvaging the scrap metal across the battlefield and from their own vehicles to repair them.
"Soldiers, the time has come to move! We need to block any Chinese advance into Tanzania, or this operation is for naught! Go brothers, I shall be watching!" Every single soldier cheered in joy at the time having come. Buggies immediately roared to life as they began driving across the border and into Kenya. Scorpions, partisans, and militants of all kinds followed. The next day would run red with the blood of the Chinese Dragon, and the GLA would be one step closer to victory. The GLA had even made themselves homemade Halloween masks for the 31st, and would fight the Chinese with a terror unlike any other. It was but a few hours later that the GLA forces of Gamma Point set up their entrenchment. Scorpion pilots looked out from beyond the trench with their binoculars, while other forces were at work, readying weapons for the moment when the Chinese would find them and send out their forces. Camo nets were strewn across the tanks and entrenched forces at the same time, all to conceal their position until the time was right. Across the southern and western borders of Tanzania, however, other forces were readying themselves to fight.
