Off the Western Coast of Cyprus 0930 Hours
Alexandros, Admiral of the Greek Navy, casually sipped tea in the bridge of the flagship of his flotilla which was steadily edging down the Western Coast of Cyprus. After the initial encounter of resistance during the first stages of the campaign, the Greek flotilla traveled in peace. After the new N.A.U. landing, more ships such as those of the Bulgarian navy were added into the flotilla to execute a new mission: blockade the coast, trap the new invaders, and provide fire support to ground forces. After briefly bombarding N.A.U. soldiers on the front who were already under extreme pressure, several sea-borne signatures appeared on the flottila's radar. In glee, Alexandros quickly ordered the elimination of the ships on the radar, and several volleys of low flying super-sonic cruise missiles flew out of their chambers and within less than a minute, they slammed into their targets, which turned out to be 3 transport ships, and 2 destroyers, which were all sunk. The radar signatures of the ships disappeared as Greek sailors cheered at their success. Needless to say, the N.A.U. were completely stunned at the guts of the flotilla, and now, the fact that several ships of their's tumbled into the depths of the ocean. Despite giving the first blows, Alexandros was not sure that he would be let go so easily, but he would fight tooth and nail if he had to, for the lives of his countrymen and the Cypriots.

Grigory was breathing heavy inside the cockpit of his Berkut. Even after flying many successful air missions, he still felt some anxiety where he was, thousands of meters in the air, though he was comforted somewhat by the excellent safety features of his aircraft. Beside him were several others Berkuts in wolf packs escorting several SU-66 bomber aircraft. Suddenly, from nowhere, several Raptor aircraft appeared to 'intercept' their attack. How unfortunate.. for the American pilots, that is. Grigory banked a hard right as soon as he heard the noise indicating that missiles were locked on to his aircraft, and he activated his Goliath-AS system. A few of his comrades were not so lucky. 1 other exploded and were instantly killed. One was able to eject in time, however, and would activate his parachute once he was sure that no enemy aircraft were trailing him, hoping for an easy pilot kill. Grigory was able to get himself into a position to launch several R-242 missiles at the opposing Raptors. They streamed off of the wings they were positioned on towards their targets.. He watched his radar carefully as 2 blips disappeared, and spectacularly exploded in the air...
The SU-66 aircraft, unharmed by the fighting, used their HUD to show targets marked out by ground personnel who were giving some inconvenient resistance to advancing Russian forces, launching a volley of Kh-414M missiles towards the ground to assist their friends below and then pulling away to fly towards friendly airfields to rearm and refuel. Many missiles found their marks, devastating many platoons and shattering some of the already battle-weary expeditionary forces and turning dozens of vehicles into scrap metal, including some LAV IIIs and Nanuk tanks. It wouldn't be long until the enemy would taste defeat...
-------
The smell of burning gas filled the air as several civilian gas stations lie in ruins from the NAU railgun attack, for their targets were miscalculated by American intelligence. Instead of being a hamper to Russian logistics, dozens of innocents lay dead in the wake of an American terror attack.

Western Coast of Cyprus Corporal Arseny, with a grin, watched as yet another Russian airstrike blew open several NAU armored units and sent a shower of metal, almost like fireworks, into the air along with some turrets as ammunition cooked off inside the destroyed vehicles. He enjoyed the sight of explosions, especially towards those who were attempting to harm his comrades. Another set of Canadian AFVs was stopped in their tracks by concentrated AGTM and RPG fire by fellow VDV forces.
As Arseny advanced onto NAU defensive positions upon a hill, he ran into a fire team of 2 soldiers at about 50 meters who ambushed him with several submachine guns, firing wildly while artillery and rocket fire spread dirt and ashes into the air around them. All but a few missed, all of them hitting his body armor and the impacts being mostly absorbed and only felt as a few minor taps.. Arseny calmly took aim at both soldiers, who stood wide-eyed, incredulous that they did not so much as injure their Russian opponent. With 2 precise bursts from his AShA-36, he ended their lives without so much as a whimper from them.
Unphased by the failure to stall his advance, Arseny radio'ed in a few defensive locations he spotted from the hill, followed by the roar of mortar and artillery fire towards the marked targets. It seemed as if his enemy was about to collapse at the seams with the continued CSTO assault, already losing ground faster and faster.
-
On the seaside, a Russian armored formation probed head-on into an opposing CEF defensive position. Several Kodiak tanks attacked, smashing through Canadian defenses, hoping to make a breakthrough. Their advance was supported by Russian regulars who aided their comrades in moving through the land with less resistance.
One particular commander/gunner, Yuri, took aim at one Nanuk tank at the range of about 500 meters. While the gun was being loaded after a confirmed hit on a Canadian truck, Yuri spotted a sudden flash from the barrel. of the Nanuk opposite, and felt the tank rumble slightly as the shell hit the angled armor of his Kodiak. Against the sloped nano-coated armor, the shell did not manage to even begin to penetrate. In fact, the shell had ricocheted off of the armor, harmlessly bouncing away to become scrap metal. Yuri took aim through his optics, and fired the powerful 125mm 2A56 cannon. To his pleasure, the shell hit it's target, pierced it's armor, and rendered the Nanuk combat-ineffective, taking out several important systems and also killing a few crew members. At once, it ceased moving and began to start spewing a black smoke out of the area where the armor was pierced.
Throughout the day, Yuri would receive a few more kills to add to his name in what would become a full-blown Russian assault aimed at the heart of NAU operations in Cyprus. A whole brigade was now being thrown into the fray, with the hopes of ending this ordeal once and for all with an unexpected flanking attack along the coastal plains.
Nicosia, Cyprus The rotor blades of a squadron of gargantuan Mi-26AMV aircraft were very audible as they touched down on the ground of the Cypriot capital's airport, delivering more supplies and weaponry, such as several Kodiak tanks, for Russian forces to use against the "North American imperialists", as the NAU forces on the island were known as by much of the Cypriot population, thanks to the effects of CSTO media manipulation. Jobs such as medics and reconstruction workers soared in volunteers as men and women alike joined in to help rebuild parts of their country damaged by fighting and to do their part in ending conflict on their island. A national militia also exploded in volunteers, serving as auxiliary and reserve forces on the frontlines while CSTO soldiers mainly did the work.
Protests had calmed down thanks to a reorganization of the police and the arrests of several protest leaders with suspected links to the Global Liberation Army, the extent of their involvement in the unrest is, for now, unknown. Order has been restored, permitting the CSTO to supply their frontline troops without any hinderance.

(OOC) I was waiting for Sam's verdict. Conhgrats on cheating. This just absolved me of having to play fair for quite a while. Cyprus: MOB Bridge 12:00 PM Local Time"They're getting desperate" Markus noted. "Supply hit must have been serious, they're going in all-out, heck, they blew up civillians to pin it on us." "This is the Spirit of Juno, we are in position" "Good, it's time to end this." Cyprus Coastline:"Contact, single aircraft, squawking NAU, it's....................it's massive sir!" Alexandros looked up, "It's just a single plane, fire some anti-air at it, nothing to worry about""Firing" A barrage of S-300 and S-400 missiles streaked out of the Greek Fleet towards the incoming Thunderbird, which unleashed a hail of anti-missile lasers at them, destroying them without even one harming the massive craft. "Sir, it wasn't damaged" At this Alexandros paled, if taking those wouldn't even harm this monstrosity, what woul- There was a massive explosion, and the nothing. "The flagship is down!" "My God HOW DO YOU STOP THAT THING!" "ALL THE MISSILES! YOU HEARD ME ALL OF TH-" "ABANDON SHIP!" The Thunderbird had answered the missiles with it's own wrath, leveling the mediterannian fleet with a deluge of explosives, leaving only a few patrol boats or other small craft considered meaningless by it's targetting systems and crew alive to bear witness to the utter devastation wrought by the NAU's latest bomber. The remant was forced back to greece in shame, defeated and crushed utterly by the Free World. Cyprus: AirNAU Raptors and Arrow II Fighters move in at a breakneck pace, hunting down and eliminating Russia Close Air Support in a series of daring attacks, crippling enemy air support, before turning to face the incoming horde of SU-47 "Fighters". From standoff range ,they open fire, the SU-47s try to maneuver around, but are caught mid-maneuver, unable to dodge head-on attacks.Through a relentless assault, the NAU forces route and break the back of the VVS, ending their reign of terror over Cypriot skies. Cyprus: Charlie Point[/b] (Should be on "US Action, if not, go to 47:54) It was a slaughter. Those were the thoughts of Commander Max "Maximum" Lawrence, as his M-5 Mastodon opened fire upon the reckless Russian attack, the first shell hitting straight on, impaling the tank with a massive sabot, and swerving to fire at another, which too, was simply crushed, as the Backwards Russian reliance on ERA over proper composite armor left them all but helpless to the onslaught, Even the smaller 120mm sabots of the nanuk were more than enough to gurantee kills while the russian rounds merely bounced off the Advanced NAU Composites, lucky shots besides. Heavier groups were shelled directly by the Spirit of Liberty and her Escorts, sending up massive plumes of smoke and shattered vehicles. All in all, the Russian advance had been crushed in mere hours, the coastline turned into a scrapyard, the Russian offensive was broken. One Hour Later:Reinforcements from the Spirit of Liberty arrived, more are coming by the end of the day, Amongst the, the massive M-0 Guardian, the single most powerful armored vehicle ever put into service* *The Manticore isn't a thing yet

Western Coast of Cyprus The Greek Navy was barely harmed by the Thunderbird's missiles, with only a few vessels taking real damage due to the liberal launching of countermeasures such as flares and chaff. Once the Thunderbird exhausted it's attack, there it was. Several squadrons of SU-47 Berkuts and one squadron of Firefox interceptors thrusted forward to intercept the ineffective beast. As they finally got the Thunderbird in sight, the Berkuts launched all of their missiles towards their target, and after 5 seconds, so did the Firefox aircraft, cruising at hypersonic speed. Their missiles flew at least 6 times faster than the speed of sound, and while many of the Berkut missiles were intercepted, the lasers could not target the sleek missiles launched from the interceptors. Within seconds, a giant explosion was heard, rocking the waves themselves, as a giant fireball engulfed the sky.
In minutes, an airworthy giant was turned to a flying pile of scrap metal, now falling into the sea... Alexandros watched amazingly as he saw the catastrophic explosion and cheered, his crew joining in with him. The intercepting aircraft overflew his fleet, most of it stealthed, and some of it cloaked, such as his ship, proud at their massive victory.
---
On land, things were about to turn bad for the NAU terrorists as well. As the forward recon units of the Russian force were drawing their enemy into the open, and revealing their positions, a strange sound, considered by the Russians as wonderful, was heard across the battlefield. A hail of cruise missiles from several Backfire aircraft went straight for their targets as friend and foe alike watched in awe.
A flurry of missiles slammed into the ground, sending shockwaves rippling through the ground for many to feel. Armored vehicles felt the worst of it, standing no chance in the precise bombardment of their ground. The defense was stopped in their tracks. Infantry, even those in cover, were impaled by shards of metal and burnt to a crisp by the explosions, if they were caught in it.
The Canadian forces in the area were shattered as the barrage drew to a close and the real Russian forces entered the battlefield, only minority damaged by the artillery attack on them, as most of those vehicles hit were inflatable decoys... Dummies.
Several remaining Nanuks were destroyed by the Kodiaks encroaching on them effortlessly, as their super-penetrating rounds either took their crew out, blew their vehicle up, and/or rendered the Nanuk combat-ineffective, destroying everything that would be of use against the enemy. The Russian blitz took the Canadians by storm, turning their situation into a forced rout which failed to make progress in the face of the speedy advance. The remaining NAU soldiers became surrounded, unable to move much while under fire. They had no choice but to surrender.
With the Russians achieving a breakthrough, they penetrated Canadian lines and were now exploiting their breach, driving into the rear of CEF forces. They confidently drove towards the Canadian beachhead which was now in range of several Msta and Smerch artillery systems, the advancing troops also mopped up any resistance that the Canadians could muster on the way. They prepared for the mother of all battles in Cyprus while they disrupted frontline CEF supplies and communications.
Sky of Cyprus
Many SU-66 aircraft successfully escaped the Canadian attack, being closely covered by their fellow SU-47 aircraft, who held the NAU intervention as best they could, tired of fighting. They withdrew into friendlier airspace, taking heavy losses but still putting up a fierce fight.
Suddenly, their radar lit up with friendly signals, at least a dozen Berkuts coming from the south, east, and north, who had been scrambled following enemy radio traffic and radar signals, such as that of the Thunderbird. As the main threat was now dealt with, they were sent elsewhere, to the skies above the actual Cypriot island. They surprised enemy Raptors and Arrow IIs, outnumbering, outgunning, but more importantly, outsmarting them. Fully armed and prepared, many mid-maneuver NAU aircraft were taken out of action in one fell swoop.
To add to the chaos, several S-400 systems were now in range of the NAU attack and launched their huge payload towards several Arrow II aircraft, spectacularly destroying them in a fireball.
At the end of the battle, the VVS once again stood victorious as they achieved supreme air superiority, clearing the way for more SU-66 ground attack aircraft.
