Voronov appeared amused as Adler told blatantly false history in front of crowds of international dignitaries in the U.N. room, and he responded promptly once he was done speaking.
"It seems you did not major in history, Adler. Allow me to educate you. I will overlook the fact that you insulted the effort I put to REMOVE THE BUFFOONS OF THE ADMINISTRATION WHO ORDERED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! I was not the President, and I was almost killed removing him and his corrupt cabinet in the first place! You should brush up in your books before you try and argue with me on false points.. 'friend'.. or you should save your rhetoric for the trash can."
Andrey sighed and looked disappointed at Adler, taking a drink of alcohol out of his thermos. "You have given no resistance for an international terrorist force to take the resources of North Africa, and outflank your allies. Even fighting a weak rear-guard action is preferable to this.. massive betrayal! Towards your comments about Cyprus, the Americans did not back down on puppeting an independent nation, so we stepped in! You do not understand the significance of the Battle of Cyprus, from a political and military stand-point." Voronov stood up and crossed his hands for a moment staring up to the ceiling for dramatic effect of what he would say next. He looked displeases, to say the least, and turned towards Adler who seemed to be leaving.
"Oh, so NOW you ask for help! After you denied our assistance, denied our evacuation from Africa when the GLA focused upon our forces, after we were left stranded and for dead. Only with the help of our finest commanders did our forces manage to escape from that hot hellhole intact, no thanks to Europe! Europe failed, no, CHOSE not to help us, and you think we will go back, just like that?" Voronov snapped his finger and stared unforgivingly at Adler. "A decision to abandon us was made, and you shall now deal with the consequences of your betrayal! The GLA will only grow stronger with this retreat, and soon you will realize your mistake."
