Male Reporter: ...And, alright, it's time for our update on what's going on in Cyprus! Going to Sasha Chernikova in Volgograd. You're watching FFN Network, stay tuned.

Sasha Chernikova: Alright, here I am in the lovely city of Volgograd, with the latest news on the certainly very odd happenings in Cyprus. An United States Marine Corps force has invaded Cyprus for reasons currently unknown, while being resisted by Kazakh PMCs and pro-Russian sympathizers on Cypriot beaches. The GLA appear to be resurgent in the nation, with several terrorist acts already committed.
More on the American marines in Cyprus, some sources say that they are being commanded by American commander Adam Brown. Earlier, the invading forces stated that they only wish for a diplomatic solution, despite their initial aggression. President Voronov condemned the invasion as "aggression and subjugation".
According to Cypriot media, the government of the island hired Kazakh and other CSTO-aligned mercenaries to assist them against the U.S. invasion. Reports from local citizens say that the Nicosia International Airport has already been secured by PMCs. Gunfire echoes throughout the coastline of Cyprus as the mercenaries engage American forces and defend Cypriot sovereignty.
S.C.: Along with these two belligerents, it seems the GLA could be joining the fray, as GLA activity in the island nation is rising. A heavily armed group of GLA guerillas attacked both the Cypriot presidential palace and parliament, and reports are circulating that the president is dead. Without a leader commanding the country, Cyprus could descend into anarchy. Wait, hold on, I'm receiving a message... It seems President Voronov is live in Lugansk, standby as we take FFN to the live speech.

Andrey Voronov: My esteemed countrymen! You may know that Cyprus is in a bit of trouble right as we speak, indeed, it is devolving into chaos. American troops are invading and are intent on dragging the island nation into their sphere of influence. GLA are using their combat with Kazakh PMCs to wreak havoc on the Cypriots. It has been confirmed that the President of Cyprus is dead, and the parliament is in bewilderment from an attack on their place of assembly. These are truly dark times for the citizens of Cyprus, indeed. But, no further!
*Crowd begins to clap loudly*
A.V.: Russian forces shall be entering the country to restore order shortly. Should they encounter any resistance, we will subdue the resistors using non-violent methods and will only escalate matters if we are forced to. Thank you.
*Crowd gives Voronov a standing ovation and all noise is drowned out by immense clapping. The screen then switches back to Chernikova in Volgograd*
S.C.: Okay, well, you heard it here first, viewers. Russia shall be intervening in Cyprus to protect the nation. Currently, the situation is fuzzy, but this could mean Cypriot entry into the CSTO, should Russian forces succeed at rescuing the country from aggression.
Continuing with our foreign events discussion, a simple firefight in Egypt or a heavy operation...?
