(Adoptive Chinese name: Huan Fan (How her troops know her, professional name)
City of Birth: Beijing, Haidan District.
GENDER: Female
Ethnicity: Ethnic Indonesian, parents immigrated to China. Was born a full Chinese citizen.
AGE: 33 years old (At 2047; at 2045 she'll be 31 or so)
FACTION: Peoples Republic of China
BRANCH: Peoples Liberation Army - Ground Forces, Peace-keeping division.
THEATER OF OPERATIONS: Presently, Africa.
RANK: Lieutenant Colonel.
ACCESS TO SUPERWEAPONS?: No.
DUTIES: Deploy to hotspots around Africa as a crisis response unit, acting under UN authority and supervision. Technically not part of the U.N. peace-keeping corps, but rather a sister unit deployed by the PLA (this unit also provides security in SCO member states and chinese African holdings).
COMBAT EXPERIENCE: Too young to serve in the first Global War on Terror. Briefly served as a junior officer during the Second Global War and related sub-conflicts. Deployments were all in the central/east-Asian theaters.
COMMAND EXPERIENCE: Some, during the second war. Her promotion to Lt. Col. is new however.
DEMEANOR: Focused, precise. Likes to do things quickly and efficiently; resists being a braggart. Dislikes incendiary and nuclear arms, although has used and worked in tandem with them in the past. Considers Generals Fai and Qwai role models. Ambivalent to current PLA generals.

Fania is itself a combination of an Indonesian and Chinese name, while Hana is a popular foreign name for girls in Indonesia. So she had a strange foreign first name and a weird pseudo-Indonesian family name and grew up with an immigrant family in Beijing's elite Haidan district. Bullying was had

Its not really a requirement, and its often done as a sign of respect (or maybe you just really like a name and want it) but in Hana's case its to better blend into the very nationalistic culture of the PRC and especially the PLA.
