General Varennikov was sitting in his room in the control room of the base near a city of Gogolevo. He was going trough some papers, when his radio went on: "STB-1 to General Varennikov."
The general slowly picked the radio and answered: "Varennikov here."
Voice: "Sir, all is clear."
General: "Good. Over and out."
The general then put the radio in his pocket, stood up and slowly walked to the door. After a short walk trough the hall, he entered the controll room. One of the soldiers saw him and shouted: "Attention!"
He saluted the general, and all others inside the room stopped whatever they are doing to do the same.
The general saluted them back, and said: "Comrades, are we ready for operation Falling Stars?"
Everyone in the bases shouted at the same time: "Da comrade General!"
General smiled: "Good. Let's make this quick."
He then walked to one of the tables with a big screen and leaned towards it. On the screen, there was a map of europe, including all the active satelites orbiting above. Three of them were very big, and marked and outlined. The soldier sitting at the table in front of the screen turned: "Everything is in sync and ready sir." Varennikov looked at him, without saying a word.
The soldier continued: "All we need now is your command."
The general stepped back, turned around to the other soldiers and said: "Comrades, now we will punish those arrogant bastards for everything. From the days of their betrayal in Africa, to the events that took place just a day ago. They have proven they are not capable to handle power. Now we will teach them what is power, now we will hit them where it hurts the most." He looked around the room and saw soldiers smiling. Then he continued: "Fire!"
The soldier in front of the big screen shouted, still looking at the screen: "Countdoun started."
Everything was quiet in the room for a few seconds, and the countdown reached zero. Two S-1000 rocket systems in Slovenia and one in Russia fired two rockets each.
The soldier next to the general reported: "Everything working properly, rockets on correct route..." a few seconds later, he continued: "Decoys released, no interception dettected..." Severial seconds later: "Keppler hit... Cassini also... Keppler hit for the second time... Keppler and Cassini going down..."
A few seconds later he continued: "Comas Sola hit... Cassini hit again...Comas Sola hit again... Comas Sola going down."
General Varennikov turned to the people in the room: "Mission complete, good work comrades. The motherland, and the world, is proud of you!"
All soldiers in the room started cheering and saluting eachother. Varennikov smiled and started applauding, which encouraged the soldiers to cheer even louder.
