Hmm... I deem this outdated half-assed application unworthy of the new reboot, and have decided to make a new one! Username: TheCeLL Reason to join: The last one ended too abruptly. I am definitly not finished playing the Paramount Leader of China yet! -- SHORT BIO -- Surname: Wu (吴) Given name: Xing Min (新民) Date of birth: January 14th 1995 (Aged 50 in 2045) Place of birth: Tangshan, Hebei, China Faction: People's Republic of China Role: Paramount Leader of China State Positions held: President of the PRC, Chairman of the PRC Central Military Commission, Premier of the PRC State Council Party positions held: General Secretary of the CPC Central Comittee, Chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission -- Xingmin Wu was born into a middle-class family in Tangshan China, and graduated as one of the top students in his high school class. He studied Economics and Law in University until the sudden nuclear attack on Beijing by GLA forces in 2019. He was then enrolled into the Military, where he eventually became a logistics officer. During the war, his intricate planning skills and quick decision making played a big role in his success, and he was promoted to First Lieutenant in 2026. As the war began to wind down in 2028, Wu decided to retire from his military career to pursue politics. Using family connections, he managed to get himself a position as a member of the CPC Committee in the People's Government of Hebei. His talent for economic planning and decision-making was recognized quickly, and in 2033, he moved up to become a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the top legislative body in China. In 2040, after Cheung Liu was appointed as the new Party Chairman, he chose Xingmin Wu to be his premier and head-of-government. Though the Liu-Wu administration ruled with an iron fist, brutally crushing dissent and setting up puppet regimes, Xingmin Wu's economic policies and investments in technology have greatly improved the living conditions of the Chinese people, as well as the GDP and economic influence of China as a whole. Over the next five years, he solidified his reputation as a strong leader with the right ideas, and a talent for governing. Suddenly, in May of 2045, Cheung Liu died of a stroke, leaving the position of Head of State open. In an unprecedented move, Xingmin Wu used his political prestige and talent to have himself appointed as the Chairman and President, in addition to being the Premier. Now, he was the Head of State, the Head of Government, Party Chairman, and the Chairman of the Military Commission, all at the same time. The new Paramount Leader of China has unchecked power over all aspects of his country. He has a solid goal in mind, to make the People's Republic of China the world's leading and undisputed superpower.

IMO the first post is cute. It must be saved for eternity because it is a likely candidate to be the best post of this subforum.
