1- Any roleplay under "Worldwide Roleplay" section — excluding Military and Intelligence, is to exceed 60 words. If it does not exceed at least 60 words, it will be considered invalid, at which point you will need to either edit it to be within the word limit, or it will be deleted.
This word limit is not applicable to National Productions, Phone calls, and arrivals/departures from nations.
2- Diplomatic missions between countries are determined by their real life counterparts. Players may close undesired government offices, open new ones, or relocate them by creating a topic in International Events
Note that opening or relocating offices must also be supported by diplomatic communications between all involved parties.
3- Mailing a solid letter will take 24 (OOC) hours to arrive at destination. Electronic emails and fax are instant, but be warned that they are highly subject to being intercepted.
To Encrypt or make Private Communication and Actions requires one of the following — PRIVATE, ENCRYPTED, or SECRET. Topic Titles and descriptions are not valid for this.
Note that your government must be actively observing the communications of another country if you wish to intercept communications between them that are not considered PRIVATE, ENCRYPTED, or SECRET, and that your government must attempt to decrypt communications that are encrypted as PRIVATE, ENCRYPTED, or SECRET.
4- Our National Pay Period is every 2 OOC weeks on the weekend (Friday–Sunday), and equivalent to 1 In-Character month. Your Government will receive income, generated by your tax rate and your trade agreements.
Note that, if your tax rate exceeds the “Safe Cap” put into place for A, B, C, and D-list nations, you may be liable to lose some of your taxes (up to a maximum of 40%) and potentially see protests, riots, or even a rebellion in your country.
To qualify for your pay, players must submit a minimum of 8 Posts per Pay Period; Inactive Players will have an UNPAID status marked on the Economy. Players who are marked as having a Leave of Absence (LoA) will receive their pay as normal.
5- New players are subject to a period of IMMUNITY which lasts 90 days. During this period, no other player can act militarily against the new player until their IMMUNITY is up.
IMMUNITY is rescinded upon either the 90 day period being up, or the new player making a military action against another nation (player or NPC).
6- Permission must be obtained to roleplay a non-state actor, terror group, or similar in an NPC country. Ask permission from the country’s respective player if you wish to roleplay a non-state actor, terror group, or similar within a player country.
