The Invasion of Terra Nullius Chapter 1. General Kwai’s opening Onitsha, Nigeria General Kwai’s Base of operations China’s Master Base of this country January 10th, 2046 06:00 Local time
General Kwai finished some final paperwork. It was the official orders from Beijing, in what he was supposed to do. The honour to make the first move was granted to him. At the wall on his left was the map presented of Nigeria and Cameroon. Or better said, what once was known as Cameroon. Now, it will be the host of the first movements. HIS first movements. The troops under his command prepared for quite a while and were ready for action. Standing by on the designated targets, awaiting the final words to make their move. Kwai spoke to his troops by using the radio. Every radio of the Chinese vehicles were tuned towards this channel. Words of honour, bravery, discipline and generosity came amongst his speech. The glory what awaits them. The honour of being the ‘Wrath of the Dragon’… The Chinese troops cheered once the general was finished speaking. Everywhere, engines started and roared in the early morning. A final “Tanks are the key to any victory!” and the operation was a go. Chinese vehicles start moving towards the borders, with the sun slowly awakening and spreading it’s light over the lands. (The main routes are displayed at the chart below. See that every arrow represents 1 division, with a combined function of scouting and denying GLA scout movements. Greater numbers will follow. As I am not sure where your forces are.)

The GLA has no idea what will soon come up to them. They weren't aware of the Chinese forces as they were busy recovering from the Zodiac operations a while ago. As always there were patrols on Cameroon, they were quite calm for their use was minimal and they were far from the frontlines. A Cell was nearby, however they were just relaxing. A small infantry squad was patrolling the North, finding a good place to rest, a member heard a rumbling sound. Standing up to investigate, what he saw is equivalent to the German Blitzkrieg in 1941, he encountered a division of tanks moving across the landscape.
He quickly informed his comrades, and told the 2nd Marauder tank division nearby, the tanks took up ambush positions and waited for the Chinese to come. They were spotted, however and it was inevitable that the tanks would notice. They fought with their AK-47s, however they are no match for the armour and strength of the Chinese tanks. Only one came back with information. (( Well I guess the squad is fucked, only one retrieved info back))
A regiment was patrolling the central area, waiting for the main 3rd Scorpion Division to come, they were comprised of Rebels, RPG troopers and Quad Cannons. After quite some time a huge dust cloud was spotted on the horizon, reacting quickly they moved to the shadows. They sent a squad to investigate. After some time they had information of a large number of tanks, informing the division they too set up an ambush. A division set up operations on the South, defending the area. Until they heard tanks moving across the battlefield. They sent a scout team to investigate, same as the situation up North, they quickly readied their guns and waited for the Chinese, the scout team was obviously spotted as they were literally standing in front of the Group and quickly hurried back. ((Now this should be interesting))

The division on the northern path had little struggle to remove the wandering GLA squad. With a few blasts from the Battlemasters in front, the bodies of the infantry just were blown to pieces. Despite the overwhelming numbers, a single GLA soldier escaped. Laughing about this easy victory the division had no problems continieuing following their path. Only the tank commander in front was worried. Radioing back to the high command in Nigeria: “Sir, we have encountered a single GLA squad… yes, victory was ours… But I need to report a single survivor… Yes, he survived… What? No, he will most likely inform GLA contractors about our presence… yes, orders received and understood.” (you have not provided a dice role. I assume it was a case of bad luck, combined with the fact that a division outranks a squad by a long shot, I take the victory for this small event. Consider the division still on route.) Middle
The division was unaware of the GLA members in the area. It continued to follow its designated route, as commanded. Unaware of the GLA prepared ambush. (you may have the first strike, since you know these forces locations, scouting was undetected, and you are preparing an ambush. I consider with this setup the defender, surprised by the ambush) South
Surprised by a sudden GLA force in the area, the Chinese quickly took battle positions. But the GLA were clearly in advance. Lined up in a line, the Chinese were mowed down by the GLA onslaught. Quickly positioning their own weapons, the Chinese fired back. “Call in our position. Send message to HQ! Stand your ground! FOR CHINA!” the division leader yelled, just to be shot half a minute later by a fearsome Quad Cannon. Quickly the radio operators send word about the ugly situation in which they were. Division formation preparation: completely suprised, unprepared. Casualties: High 78% of the division died. (hope I picked the correct die the 1d100. I was doubting if I should use the 1d99. If it is wrong, please mention and I will change it.
SCOUTING INTEL:INTEL report Northern movements:1 division of Chinese forces moving as a blitzkrieg scouting and cleaning crew. The next 4 divisions will follow soon up. In total, just across the borders, 20 more divisions are waiting to move in. Most likely in waves of 5 divisions, at this moment of battle/time/situation. Purpose to cut off GLA territory -> northern tip of Cameroon INTEL report Middle movements:1 division of Chinese forces making their ways to seek the best route. Destination: capital city of Cameroon, Yaoundé. This division is unaware of the upcoming ambush, prepared by the GLA. The GLA successfully gained information that there are 24 move divisions ready to follow this route to the capital. By default, the next group will be of 4 divisions, followed up by 4x5. INTEL report Southern movements:Destination: harbour/port city of Douala. Believed to be an important GLA position for naval activities. Current blitzkrieg division completely overwhelmed and in battle with the GLA division. This movement stagnates due the fact of the heavy loses.
Also, 24 more divisions are ready to follow up. As originally ordered by a movement of 4-5-5-5-5 divisions, it will most likely be accelerated due the fact of the early GLA presence. Background:(An unknown group of reinforcements are ready to support the southern route, yet since they are too far away, the GLA will not receive any Intel about them, where they are, what they exist of or when they come in action.)

Personally, I'd give 72 hours at most. At 48 hours, that's just pushing it. But, according to nearly everyone, the standard is one week.

You need to transport forces there. Can't just take control of the Chinese forces without admin permission or the faction leader's permission.

(I took the liberty to this little picture. To imagine the locations and areas of influences Yellow/Orange area. Under both influence. China is invading, could see a few things perhaps, but officially, it is still part of Terra Nullius, GLA. Grey crosses: place of the current battles) North
(30% of this division died in battle) Despite the surviving GLA member, the front China division was tremendously unprepared and perhaps even overjoyed by the simple victory. While the division commander expected the sole survivor to inform the GLA presence, He was unable to maintain his division under full focus. (it was a tie, I estimate both should draw a 1d99??) Both sides opened fire and the casualties felt left and right. Furious he was, the commander yelled through the radio that China should continue attack. He knew his division was in a Blitzkrieg/scouting movement. There was no going back due the fact far more forces were following his. new attack role Middle
(49% of this division died in battle) (lucky draw by me. I however will gentle decide to role a 1d100, due the prepared ambush and the unawareness from my own forces.) The Chinese forces cried out from pain as the surprisingly GLA ambush came out of nowhere. The impact from the pesky rebels and their machinery caught the Chinese by surprise. Their commander radioed a SOS message back to general Kwai’s base of operation’s in Nigeria. The situation was desperate. Fact was, that the GLA most likely were not giving up with these many deaths on the Chinese side. Tanks moved out, trying to find a weak spot in the well prepared ambush positions. new attack role middle South
(from the remaining forces, 75% died) (since the first strike killed 78% of my division, I think I should use a 1d6, right? Downgrade 1 level so to say) Known that what’s left of the group had to fight to the last man. Chinese tanks made a last push and kept on shooting while infantry tried to use the metal husks as a shield for cover. But despite their braveness, many died once more.

Suffer the consequences of bad writing! )) NorthThe fanatic Rebels cocked their Ak-47s and pinned the Chinese Battlemasters, halting their advance. Soon the Marauder Tanks appeared out of the trees, hiding from the foliage. Arming their main guns, they attacked the Chinese tank column. With their scrap-metal armour and angling, most shots coming from the Tanks were bounced, making the casualty numbers low.MiddleThe Ambush was successful... To the eyes of the Chinese. Even with the sheer power of the GLA vehicles and rebels, their lack of training was beginning to show. Men fell down on the dirt as Chinese machinegun fire fill up the air. However one of the key things that the GLA has perfected in this is the Surprise. Even with the Chinese, predicting an ambush, they weren't ready for the sheer Power the GLA has brought to them. They fought down to the last man. The Scorpions soon arrive aiding the battle torn division. New Casualty roll: (I propose that the first division is merged with the Scorpion division, hence why they fought back.) SouthGLA forces rushed to the scene, delivering fanatical energy. Trigger-happy rebels opened fire onto the division. Followed by the screams of Anti-aircraft guns, punching through or considerably making dents on the Chinese Tanks. While the battle was going on, The Cell nearby now notified on the Chinese troop movements sent all their divisions on where the frontline was at, a BM-21 Grad artillery battery was standing nearby waiting for the signal.

(Totally forgot some background story telling. Excuse me for this mistake earlier) General Kwai was not pleased. Already too many tanks were destroyed in battle. The numbers spoke for themselves. Watching out his office window he noticed some trucks once more pulling in heavily damaged Chinese tanks back to base. He cursed. Yes, earlier he had an conversation by phone with the commander of the Nuclear Branch, General Tao. General Tao offered assistance to send over some Nuke Cannon artillery pieces. Kwai refused as there were already some artillery within his invading forces. No.. his tanks will bring the victory to China! The GLA will fall under their tracks. But things needed a change. Instead of accepting this offer, he contacted the Chinese Air Force Branch. Time was now to send out a support wave of heavy bombers, Kwai thought. He turned away from the window to his desk, checking the paperwork for the request of such strikes. Kwai picked them up and faxed them through. Let the pesky GLA face the might of China. Walking through the hallway to the radio officers, Kwai gave instructions. The radio officers were tasked to inform the Chinese invasion force of the ordered bombing campaigns. (next round face some well-deserved carpet bombing GLA) NORTH
(I believe that a missrole was carried out by your side. My last attack was a 5 while you have a 2. You should have cast a 1d100 instead of a 1d99, am I right? But no fear, just leave it like how it is now.) The northern forces took quite the punch from the GLA, but fortunate as the Chinese were, only their weak infantry felt under the GLA attacks. With this, the Chinese heavy tanks like the famous Overlord tanks took their positions and fired (hence the high number on the preparation dice role) (2vs2.. it's a tie. I choose to role a 1d99 aswell. (earlier lost 30%. now 50% from the remaining 70%. = 35% of the original division still stands) (division downgraded. I am allowed to continue the fight using 1d6) Remaining forces are well prepared: MIDDLE
The Chinese cheered as the remaining of this slaughter fest fleed before their eyes. But there was not a time to celebrate that long. Quickly the radio’s informed the forces of the GLA backup forces. “THEY WILL BOW TO CHINA!” Hopper tank commander shouted to motivate the men . (again a tie. 1d99 is chosen) (13% of the remaining 50% killed. 43.5% from the original division continues the battle) (enough members left. 1d7 is chosen) (Battle continues, with a Chinese answer to continue the war a little above average prepared) SOUTH
The remaining forces were killed beyond recognition. The blitzkrieg opening strategy backfired on this division. The battlefield had a sad theatre from Chinese stand of view. Dead bodies of the fallen soldiers and destroyed tanks everywhere. (too much casualties in a row. Therefore the remaining of the original division will be entirely killed) The remaining GLA forces could celebrate. They won this hard battle. But, the next wave was on their way

((Might need to double post ;D) The night was cold and dark... Typical for the African climate. The cold whispers of wind carry dust and possibilities over the land. However, these possibilities can both mean bad or good. GLA soldiers walked through these lands night or day for the protection of both their Warlord and their homelands.
Back at Abdul's undisclosed location, he was unusually relaxing. During these periods of darkness he would be either directing his forces or contacting sleeping cells. It was unusual for his officers at least. He sat in his rusty office chair, with the flickering fluorescent light and the creaking fan above him. As always his brown, old wooden table was flooded with maps and papers and only his vintage lamp, probably made in the 2010s, kept the light on them.
An officer knocked on his metal door, requesting to get in. Abdul walked to the door opened it with his eyes full of excitement. The officer wore some kind of a special arm band, which means he's something important to the GLA's arsenal.
"Muhammad Yafani, good to see you back... So how are the facilities doing?" Abdul asked gesturing for the man to sit down.
"Abdul, good to see you too. The facilities are now loaded with the missiles you have been requesting. 16 High-explosive and 16 Anthrax. BM-31 Grads are now positioned, and the SCUD launchers have already took aim at the three battlefields. However if you don't give the order soon, some of these men might strike mutiny." Muhammad answered stroking his beard.
"That's the reason I've sent you here. Now if I recall correctly, there should be a system in m bunker here to directly control these facilities."
"Of course sir."
Muhammad went towards a locked door, punched a code into the keypad and it opened. It was another level down, never seemed to be touched for several years. Muhammad recalled the times where the GLA was once with Omar, and it's Generals were here giving orders to the units in the front. Due to the disappearance the floor was abandoned, and soon forgotten.
"Abdul, you might need to initiate a meeting for your Generals." The man chuckled.
The lights turned on and the vintage systems went online. Due to the harsh and sacrificial work the workers have done, they have revamped the Ground-Communication systems to the facilities since last month.
Abdul went over the microphone and directed the dial towards facility number one.
Facility Number One SCUD Storm, located near Lomie, Cameroon
It was quiet, peaceful, and serene. The only thing obscuring the beautiful trees and the shining stars of the night is the SCUD Storm facility. As always, GLA personnel wandered around it to make sure that the perimeter is secure. They were alarmed by such events of the Battle happening near them.
The Vintage speaker system in the main facility went off. Confused, the commanding officer took the call with high alert. He scoffed his 'Uniform' and went towards the command room.
"Facility Number One, here. Never knew that this old thing still works." He answered
"This is Abdul-Al Rashid, I believe that this system will now be fully online in about a few days. You are invited to my bunker for the details... Are the warheads in-check?"
"Yes my Warlord, they are ready to strike at the set coordinates, shall I send these numbers to the others too?" He asked with loyalty.
"Please do, set launch timer to... 15 minutes."
After the last sentence, Abdul ended the call. He went up to his floor and sat in the chair again.
((Next post will cover the scenes in the battle parts, However if I fail to do this, Wang, take note that the units, are either destroyed by your forces or the hail of missiles incoming. Either way if I reply late, Just take it that the middle GLA forces are surrendering and the North ares still fighting. If I don't reply late however, Then I'll handle it. ))

The GLA fanatics fought with might against the Chinese forces, unaware of the genocide their leader was going to do unto them. "My brothers, the Chinese are almost breaking, Victory is at hand!" In facility oneMen were busy in a control room, communicating as a red analog timer was counting down. A man in uniform quickly silenced the busy men. He looked at all of them and began to speak, clenching his dark-brown coat.
"Hamad, are the warheads ready for launch? Fuel? Launch Systems?"
A man with glasses quickly turned from his stool, adjusting his glasses before speaking.
"Yes sir, fuel systems are now fully functional, enough to send the warhead more than 300 kilometers away. The launch systems are ready, and we contacted the other facilities to launch with unison."
"Very well then."
The Radio turned on, with voices speaking:
"Facility two, waiting for launch"
"Facility three, waiting for launch"
"Attention, BM-21 Grads and SCUD launchers are now positioned and are ready to strike at your command."
The timer counted: 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2..1...
"Now!"
The scud storm launched it's rockets towards the coordinates, as well as the others. The missiles are now heading into the Chinese and GLA forces.
