Hello everyone,
So recently we are trying to set this beast up once more. Congratz, it seems that it will work.
On my open suggestion what I should do right now, some suggestions came up:
I could join the NAU, China, GLA and Russia, since they got 1 member and AEDP/ECA already 2.
First off all, I am fine with whatever faction I join. Personally, I hope for something new.
The Warzone suggested that I should lead the GLA. Fine with me, although there were some second opinions on it from someone else at least. However I got a proposal:
- I can be a very active, experience player.
- Good news, I am finally of my depression medication.
- Leadership is not something I demand, however, if I will become a commander, than at least I want a decent leader who knows what he does.
- I can offer whomever it needs, creative support. Already proved that by several already existing players, despite whatever faction you are.
- The current feelings about several new changes bugs me. However, I have a counter proposal, the main reason why I wrote this:
A. I will stick with them. I will (try) to forget my feelings about them.
B. For that, I want a fair clean shot at this. Since this round is entirely new, no need to bring up old crap.
C. Speaking of which, that doesn't mean that I will 'admit defeat' (yes that sounds very dramatically, yet I lack better words to discribe that)
D. I just propose we bury the hatches. I am still convinced about several things, but I can offer to bury mine.
E. The people who I am referring to, knows it. No need for explenations furthermore. Questions? Ask me on skype.
For when I 'run' the GLA keep this in mind:
- Bruce will return, and most likely replace me as leader, since that was our originally plan.
- Omar Al Ghazi, great character, but will not be a deal under my rulership. However, keep the paperwork stand by for perhaps future purposes. Like:
A. I lack time or inspiration. (I will be honest about this when it happends)
B. I don't want the leadership anymore.
C. Perhaps Omar Al-Ghazi wants to become a commander, if Zhang Ping becomes tired of ruling Russia, like he earlier stated.
D. Fair, Omar shouldn't be deleted. He has a great character and behaviour issues (ment as a compliment what fits the character)
E. IF so, Fear Toxin and the Liquidators isn't a thing. It can become a thing if Omar will once be active.
Summary what I can offer:
- Active membership
- Experience, for multiple reasons. Politics, Military, Economically and perhaps OOC and or inspiration issues.
- I will forget the earlier disagreements, in return a clean new start, despite who is right or wrong.
- If I rejoin, Bruce will also (only some later due IRL issues at his current location)
- If I rejoin, the player behind Luigi will return as well. He needs me, since he is unfamiliar with the lore, RP, etc etc.
- if I rejoin, you got an active person who 'fetch' people back. I am not quite sure how many times I got a few of them back, but yeah, somehow I just do it.
- Countryball cartoons reffering to RP situations.
- Do a bunch of stuff nearly nobody wants to do. Making summaries, time lines, rule proposals etc.
- I will try to control my strong opinion. Since I am not on medicines anymore, it should become more easier, but that's a hope I got towards this. Second, I will also try to control in real life politic affairs, since people might feel offended. Just to make this clear: it's not ment as a personal insult. I even make fun of my own country and stuff.
My requests:
- NO independant factions. We lack players, second, I think things will not be balanced anymore. What can a tiny country do against a major faction? let's be honest about this instead of nationalistic feelings (Netherlands stronk!)
- Added to this: the former UK independant faction had a clear reason. However, and this is not ment as a personal attack, things got way uglier. Second, the new members who joins independants, should really join main factions. This is the ROTR universe, not todays world. However, an independant merc and stuff like that, yeah. In my opinion, join the main factions.
- If something familiar happened in the future like Wilson vs Adler last round, let there be elections, coups or fighting for the power instead. Perhaps even deflection. Again, Wilson had his reasons for it, and they were good.
- Please and I really mean this: PLEASE.. take my texts not too seriously. I try to use proper English. But it already happen several times: translation and intrepetation issues. From me to proper English players, and proper english to myself. Face it. Sometimes litterary translations just suck. Or misintrepetations will cause trouble.
IMPORTANT:
in real life current situation:
Yes I am healthy once more, thank god. Took too much damn time. BUT...
Tomorrow, local time, I am going to collect the keys of the property from where my real life business will take place. Hurray. BUT, this means that the upcoming time I lack decent time to oversee everything most likely. Second, after days of hard work to redecorate the place and build the internal layout of the property, it can be that I lack patience. And be honest, everyone has that.
However, I will try to stick with my parts. In the evening before bed I will update stuff. If for some reason I can't make it every day or it will take a few days longer... this is the reason why.
the first of September, I planned to open the doors. If so, I will have more time once more, since our openingtimes isn't the entire day
So, written this, I will load up my car with the tools and stuff I need tomorrow. Please do respond to this if you think you should. I honestly hope this was all. I might have forgotten something, if so, I add it later
