"If people stand behind you, give them protection. If people stand beside you, give them respect. If people stand against you, give them no mercy. So give them nothing, but take from them, EVERYTHING!" -Lexine Baruch giving a rousing speech to those under her command before standing firm in garrisoned buildings and vehicles to unleash Hell.
Login Name:
Gojira2
RP Character Name:
Lexine Baruch
Faction to Join:
ECA (AEDP's defensive Military Branch)
Age:
40 (as of 2045)
Place of Origin:
Hungary
Personality:
Headstrong, feisty, confident to the point of arrogance. All of those could describe Lexine fittingly. Like most Israeli women, she is trained to be capable of snapping people in half or break their spine with ease. She has seen war, she has seen death. In fact, figuratively, She stared Death right in the eyes and Death stared right back. Eventually, Death stepped down and backed off, not interested in taking someone so soon.
Like most tomboys, her childhood in life seemed to have paved the way for her to join the life of a military butch, and her training in Krav Maga only refined that path for her.
She is strong, independent, and educated. She knows it. Her losses only caused her to become persistent and disciplined, which also causes her to currently not flaunt or gloat about her strength.
In short, Lexine is a militaristic old school feminist.
History:
Lexine Baruch's family always had their roots deep within Europe, most notably in The Caucasus. A few days before September 1st, 1939 however, her family packed up their bags and took a ship leaving France for the United States to wait out the Nazi and Soviet incursions lead by Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. It wasn't until February 2, 1978 when her family moved back to Europe, this time, moving for Hungary.
In 1980, her family set-up shop as carpenters, miners, and bankers, providing a nice nest-egg.
In 2005, Lexine Baruch is officially born. During her childhood years, it was well known that she was not like other girls: prefering games and activities meant for boys her age. When she was first allowed to watch television, she watched a program that captivated her: Not the usual cartoons or religious television shows. It was instead a Krav Maga tournament, to which she took notes and drew pictures of stances. When she hit 10, her father knocked on her door and walked in on her practicing stances. When she was asked where she learned such stances, she simply replied 'I saw people do it on TV!'
Her father, instead of being furious, was both happy and disappointed: Happy because his offspring had taken interest in something, yet disappointed because of his old views of sex (gender) based activities. However, noting that she was bullied a bit in school for being a tomboy, he relented and took her to a Krav Maga instructor to be taught how to defend herself and fight when she hit the age of 14 years, all of this after having her Bat Mitzvah at the age of 12.
During her adult years, with the emotional and small financial support of her parents, she managed to balance her Krav Maga training, education, and personal time until 2020, five years after the Global War of Terror started. The only good thing that had happened to her family was that the war did not reach Hungary at any time. During the war on terror, her family kept to themselves.
When she turned 25, however, something within her told her that this was a war she needed to be a part of. It was only a month afterwards that she had a talk with her mother and father about joining the military. It was a long discussion, but one that, ultimately, she won as her father took her to a recruiting station to be inducted. A few more years past and she had proven herself a capable and eager fighter, as such, she was decorated with various medals, two of the most prominent being 'Medal of Distinguished Service' and 'Medal of Bravery'.
Position Held:
Front-line soldier, all ranks up to and including Seren (Officer)
Tactics:
Like her Supreme Commander, her tactics are flexible, though her favored tactic is standing her ground and watch in delight as her opponents expend their strength and stamina against a wall of flesh and metal before opening fire and running circles around her foes.

While the ruckus didn't hit Hungary, it hit fairly close to home with the Baruch family due to Israel being the blood home of Jews. Almost immediately through the help of her mother and father, She is soon recruited into the Israeli Defense Forces, allowing her to further hone her fighting capabilities. On October 15th, she earns expert level 3 Green Belt in Krav Maga.

The Israeli Defense Force soon transfers Lexine Baruch to one of their branches in the United States for further training and missions on foreign soil. She takes a plane to one of the US Bases. There aren't very many missions in the United States to help her, though one of the Krav Maga Instructors there awards her with expert level 5 Green Belt.
2040:

As of March 3rd, she hears from local military officers that the country as a whole is continuing the fight against the GLA, to which she goes to the nearest military base to continue serving.
She currently continues her services within the ECA.
