Reporter James Mckinley:
Good morning Minnesota, today marks the inauguration of Lucian W. Clark, a soldier born and raised here, as he is promoted from Major to Lieutenant Colonel. Lucian was born here in our town he is one of the many sons of General Nick Clark: a leading commander in the Global War on Terror. At a young age, he started studying to become a military officer for the US Army, while his parents and siblings joined the other branches. He served as a captain when the Global War on Terror came into picture, and he slowly climbed up the ranks defending strategic areas that were considered prime GLA targets all boiling down to his role in defending an important city that the GLA had staged a desperate attack on. Right now, we have the soon-to-be Lieutenant Lucian with us. Lucian is also the youngest US general in the NAU's armies. For our first question, do you think you can handle this position Lucian?
Lucian:
Well James, I managed to get this far, and I'm not giving up, not today not ever. I've fought tooth and nail to this point, and if i give up now, i would be disgracing our fellow soldiers who died because of the Global War on Terror.
Reporter James Mckinley:
So the people wanna know what do you think of the war?
Lucian:
It was hard; the war has been discussed to death already, what more is there to add? I lost plenty of good men on the battlefield trying to save what's left of our nation, but ill continue on inch by inch so maybe we can all finally go home and not worry about getting killed.
Reporter James Mckinley:
In war, many of the cities you defend are usually left in ruins due to either terrorist actions or collateral damage from your own troops. What we want to know is how do you help the people who are left homeless because of it?
Lucian:
Although I try my best to protect the cities the best I can, I cant plan for everything, and I cant save everyone. War is costly, and I cant afford to rebuild houses when there are other cities being razed to the ground as we speak.
Reporter James Mckinley:
Allegedly, the GLA has been recruiting orphans as child soldiers and reports say that your soldiers were forced to shoot down the children, as they didn't have any training in disarming them. Are these claims true?
Lucian:
Well this is why the GLA are vile scum. They are this desperate that they are willing to use children for they're own perverted means; my soldiers have broken down crying, saying that they had to kill a child because he had a detonator in his hand.
Reporter James Mckinley:
This has been a dark moment let us have a moment in silence...
pauses to pay my respects
Now recently the GLA has been very quiet why do you think that?
Lucian:
The GLA are likely gathering forces for their cause. It's likely that either Russia or China have dealt a blow to their infrastructure this may be good short-term, but who know what they might do in the future.
Reporter James Mckinley:
As everyone knows, Russia and its power couple have been becoming more aggressive in their diplomacy and their rhetoric towards the United States. Is it likely that Russia might declare war on the NAU?
Lucian:
Well, although I'm restricted to saying anything regarding the relationship of the NAU and Russia, we are taking precautions.
Reporter James Mckinley:
So was the Invasion of Kurmuk actually worth it because it has lead to the current deteriorating relationship with Russia.
Lucian:
While the invasion was because we assumed the Russians had produced nuclear arms we had to take to take action or risk nuclear attack from Russia although we did find that it wasnt a nuclear weapon but thats as far as i can say as i am not allowed to divulge any further information regarding it but to be honest it wasnt worth it.
Reporter James Mckinley:
Well i would like to ask you more question but we have run out of time Lucian do you have anything to say?
Lucian:
Although it seems as if the world is at its worst it will get better eventually and we can hope this war war swiftly and with the least bloodshed and we will prosecute the war criminals for this war.
Reporter James Mckinley:
