Timeline coincides with Washington DC incursion.
MOB: SPIRIT OF LIBERTY: ATLANTIC OCEAN
Captain Jean "Havoc" Parker was the first to awaken, as usual, slipping out of his bottom berth in the usually 40-man subarea cordoned off for his team's use.......secrecy trumped other concerns in this case. He did what he always did, Relieved himself, made himself somewhat presentable and then went to grab a coffee from the mess hall.
Only to find a Marine with a knife and 3 buddies, also knived, coming towards him.
Hell, it's about time there was some action.
He shoulder-checked the first man in the chest, prying the knife from his loosened grip and swung it........a KA-BAR, into the path of the second man on his right, pivoting over to use him as cover against the other two.
(OOC: The rest of them should hear this comotion btw)
The now knifeless man simply tried to tackle him, and had his comrade thrown in his way for his trouble, while jean went straight for the next problem, grabbing the man's knife hand in a firm grip slamming his own knife's pommel into the man's skull. That'll keep him down long enough.
The last marine simply jumped at him, again getting a warm body for his trouble as jean pounced on the two now separating men, taking the one with the knife down with a hilt to the back of the head, and dropped his elbow into the other man's solar plexus, then picked him up and piled him on his last concious colleague.
The rest was just cleanup.

The Warlord General Brown organized the coming assault on Washington DC. The Spirit of Liberty would stay well away from the fight however, and was moving to dock near GLA-controlled Algeria. What was unexpected was the message he got from a Navy Rear Admiral. "Sir, it appears that a CEF commando squad was tucked on-board. They killed some of your Marines in a cowardly fashion." The creature inside Brown thought a bit. "How far away are they?" "If they walk, it would take them 2 hours to get here. If they use our rail system, maybe 10 minutes?" The creature was not amused. "Looks like we need to reveal our secrets a bit earlier than we thought. You see, our great leader Omar has thought of these things ahead of time, and snuck his own secrets on board a long time ago." From the door came 4 people, dressed in Omar al Ghazi's colors. They brought up a diagram of their development: "General Brown, we have finished converting our GPS scrambler technology to fit the Fusion Reactors onboard this ship. We had a lot of energy to work with however, and it appears that this will not only jam the communications of anyone attempting contact with an unauthorized transmission, but will also directly pinpoint them." The creature was happy. "How many of these do we have?" "Seven sir, three of which are surplus." "Excellent!" The creature ordered in the Radio: "Deploy all the Scramblers. Shut down the rail system too. Let's make it hard for them to get to us!" Brown was happy with them not being able to communicate, and he made sure to input Omar's transmission channel and a few other marine leaders into the exception list.
