The Russian President was recognized world-wide, and he apparently got "special treatment" for being a good politician in the face of a dangerous man. It felt better not to be treated as a world leader, but as a normal person getting coffee. Even if it was in unnecessary circumstances.
"Look, sir. I'm sorry, but you have to pay in US dollars, or it's not a valid exchange."
"Do you take me for someone would would carry your country's currency on my person? I spend more time in the Eurasian landmass than I do here!"
"Sir, would you please calm down. Look, why are you buying all these coffees?"
"Because I'd rather everyone calm down after..." The Russian President took a deep breath before he just sighed and took back his money.
"Can I at least have some water? Put the coffees off your own tab."
"Sir, I can't."
"I'm getting coffee for the rest of the world leaders. Even if I can't get any for myself, I would prefer it if I could at least give them something caffeinated. Can that work?"
"I suppose," The underpaid teenage worker sighed. He then went to get Molchanov's drink and the four other coffees that he requested. Capitalism: it may work for some countries, but he never understood why America could have so much better and chose to remain in the past. After less than a few seconds of waiting, the worker came back with a simple cup of water. It was after Christmas, and the cups here were still without snowflakes. It boggled Dmitry's mind that someone could get so angry about something as trivial as the absence of a design on a cup in a coffee shop. He took his seat and sighed as he thought on what had happened. Omar had been arrested after he was proclaimed a world power by the United Nations, and Freephoenix lied to everyone thinking that he would have a chance to get Omar once and for all. Although it may have worked, and Dmitry commended the success, it seemed a little extreme to invite the world's most dangerous man into his home. For all I could've known, those Liquidators that came with him could have set up Fear Toxin bombs across New York. What a terrifying thought that was. Dmitry chuckled as he took a sip and thought on the situations that were occurring. As he spoke, Omar would be brought to justice in European lands for his crimes.
"Here're your coffees, sir."
"Спасибо. [Thank you.]" Dmitry then grabbed the drinks and set them into a holder as he struggled to return to the UN building to meet with the other world leaders as he heard helicopters coming into New York.
(OOC: Any world leader can join this little thing with Dmitry. I would prefer it if it was Xingmin Wu , but I'm fine with Steven Freephoenix , Ramon Cañarte Valverde , or Jürgen Adler . It's to kind of finish off on pieces that the UN never discussed on.)
