Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen.
For those of you who don’t know me, I am General Hugh Anson Douglas, and today I am announcing a recently established military training operation between our United States of America, Japan and Unified Korea.
Starting immediately, United States Marine, Air Force and Navy personnel will begin shifting deployments from our Okinawa base in Japan and some military installations at home, to the Korean Capital of Seoul, where they will meet with Korean Military personnel and Japanese Military Personnel.
Following that they will begin intense war-games and training scenarios with the Koreans, and Japanese, who I’m told are very eager to prove themselves to their Korean allies.
This will be the first major joint military exercise with both Korea and Japan since the 2028 American withdrawal, and we are very eager and patient to re-build and re-establish connections with our pacific allies.
That is why the major theme of these operations is one of trust and co-operation, and that theme of trust is why, I am standing here today.
We would like to extend an offer to the People Republic of China to join our training operations, alongside with any other fleets in the area.
We have one message to all, and that is that should you wish to do right, all are welcome.
The United States Military considers the PRC as one of our most important allies, and one of our dearest international friends, and we feel that by focusing on co-operation between the major Asian powers, we can create a far safer and more stable environment for the world to enjoy.
Now it is important to note that given the size and scope of these training operations, Japan is exposing itself by shifting nearly 30% of its military personnel to Korea, and given that the 1945 peace treaty between Japan and Russia still hasn’t been singed, also considering recent acts of Russian Aggression, they are potentially at threat.
We have decided to move some heavy navel presence to help offer further security options to Japan, and we invite the PRC to join us in these defensive operations.
United States Marines and Navy Personnel from the Spirit of Independence will simultaneously be conduction humanitarian aid and reconstruction operations in the Philippians. As a show of good faith, all countries that are joining us in our war games scenarios have offered to donate money and supplies to the still recovering region. As a bit of fun all the Training operations will be judged with a score, and the loser of the combat scenarios and the lowest amount of points will donate a sum of cash to the reconstruction and aid of the people devastated by the Yashwa Typhoon in the Philippians 2 years ago.
These games are separate to the main training operations, but we are offering all Asian and pacific nations who want to join our training operations, a chance to join these ‘games’ and help these people in need.
We will now be taking questions.
