1- The production of equipment can be done by any nation/party with the industrial capacity and technical knowledge to do so. Nations are allowed to produce anything that their nation owns in real life, including variants of existing technology which other nations may have provided to their real-life counterparts. To balance this out, nations are also able to “block” the production of any equipment of theirs — original or variants — that were introduced in the year 2000 or later.
2- All equipment — except for personal equipment — are classified by tonnage in order to make our systems run smoothly. This includes everything from vehicles to ships, and even aircraft, and was designed to allow any player to understand just how we plan on handling production.
Personal Equipment
Light Vehicles (under 30 tons)
Heavy Vehicles (over 30 tons) (including SRBMs and Cruise Missiles AND boats under 100 tons)
Aircraft (including MRBMs, ICBMs and SLBMs)
Submarines
Light Surface Ships (between 100-3,000 tons)
Medium Surface Ships (between 3,000-20,000 tons)
Large Surface Ships (between 20,000-80,000 tons)
Massive Surface Ships (over 80,000 tons)
3. As seen above, there are multiple categories for what types of equipment can be produced, as well as notations for specific types of equipment that may fall under other categories.
In addition to breaking down equipment by tonnage, we have also introduced the ability to produce equipment in “batches” that naturally increase in time the larger they get. That being said, nations are only able to support the production of one line of any equipment, with the exception being if the extra lines of production are strictly for the exportation of arms. Multiple lines of production can only be supported for domestic use if all equipment being produced is not the same.
Personal Equipment (2 days) - batches of 1-5,000, every 1k after increases production by a day.
Light Vehicles (3 days) - batches of 1-500, every 500 after increases production by a day.
Heavy Vehicles (5 days) - batches of 1-500, every 500 after increases production by a day.
Aircraft (7 days) - batches of 1-100, every 100 after increases production by a day.
Light Surface Ships (7 days) - batches of 1-20, every 20 after increases production by 1 day
Submarines (12 days)
Medium Surface Ships (15 days)
Large Surface Ships (18 days)
Massive Surface Ships (21 days)
Example:
5,000 rifles would take 2 days, 5001-6000 would take 3 days, 6001-7000 would take 4 days, etc. etc.
500 light vehicles would take 3 days, 501-1000 would take 4 days, 1001-1500 would take 5 days etc. etc.
100 jets would take 7 days, 101-200 jets would take 8 days, 201-300 would take 9 days etc.
