I have decided to restart this RP anew. Of course, this depends upon whether you people are interested in a revival. I will just list the changes made here:-
1- There is now a dark theme, makes it easy on the eyes for users. This dark theme will be the default dark theme. The theme will be tweaked to make it look better. (Done) 2- I will personally make a new banner for the forum. 3- There will only be three factions in the new RP: USA (America), Russia and Europe. The faction count was cut down to ensure that activity issues don't affect the RP. Fewer factions mean users are more concentrated. These three factions were selected because they were the most active and the majority of the people were interested in these three factions. (Done) 4- Worry not, China, SAP and GLA still exist, they will remain inactive till we get a userbase which can sustain more than three factions. 5- Some of the sections will be reorganised to make it easier to sort out. (Done) 6- We need to make new rules, a joint effort is required from all active users for this. 7- All threads of the inactive round will be shifted to the archives for a fresh start. (Done)
If I remember more changes I will add them here.

All accounts have been removed from their user groups. You can now make new biographies here: rotrwarzone.boards.net/board/28/character-biographies. If you want you can use your old character or make a new character. If you are making a new character you will need to make a new account. You can only join three factions now: USA, Russia and Europe. The leaders of the said factions will be decided later on.

The top priority is making the rules of the roleplay. If you have any ideas about rules please post here.

See thats difficult territory Wise Its simply enough you separate Nations into sections Then you march armies in to invade. You need to take into account air force, navy, troops, tanks, submarines, snipers etc. Even talk about bombardements before invasions and such...

Hi everyone...seeing as this RP is being started anew, and considering I'm bored and in need of political roleplay, I think I will be rejoining as Russia's President once again (government style may change in the future XD). For rules, I think that there needs to be quite a few substantial changes:
1. The implementation of some sort of economic system for faction leaders to be able to utilize for their countries. This includes national projects such as infrastructure, Research & Development of new equipment, and equipment productions. 2. The streamlining of in-game RP dates from Realtime to 2 weeks=1 month in-game. 3. The redesigning of the forum's "privacy" of factions by focusing more on the roleplay aspect (leave this to me) so that we have the freedom of creativity in mind.
These are but a few of them; if anyone has questions, please forward them to me.

Was invited to this RP. anyways I certainly agree to implement economic systems for development of technology, infrastructure, military assets etc. I also believe it is beneficial to elaborate further on the military aspects, the general army that is mentioned for a country is an overall branch, where there are separate branches such as navy, airforce, army, special forces etc. Additionally it be reasonable to elaborate on a system of invasions, tactical insertions, general tactics and how to conduct military operations. Furthermore, the introduction of supply lines, travel systems, espionage, hidden facilities, underground facilities, unknown landmarks that may be hidden to invaders and much more. as for countries or nations in general it be reasonable to not only implement an economic system but also a more in line with democracy, or whatever the nations may have, something that may impact how they can act? saying a democratic nation may be hindered in action through need of voting. Recruitment, work, contracts with people and businesses. Also a faction for none nations? like terrorists, rebels etc?

About the factions, I have kept them restricted to three for now. Maybe we can increase it to five but we will need faction leaders for all of these factions.
The current factions plan is this:-
North America- Blue Russia- Purple Europe- Orange
I think two more can be added:-
China- Red South America- Green
About the GLA, I think it will be better if it works as an independent faction rather than a main faction. This is because it is a terrorist organisation and not a nation unlike the above five.
What does everyone think?

Essentially, keep the focus built on the RP aspect; take note of what other political RPs do and have the players remember to type in, in big red words, "private" or "encrypted" so that, OOCly, they know what it is, but ICly can't act on it and have to act oblivious to its existence unless they discover it through spying or something along those lines. Having the forums as "private" kinda detracts from it in my opinion.

Having the forums as "private" kinda detracts from it in my opinion. I think this a really good idea. Mainly because to keep the forums truly private is extremely complicated on the backend. It will probably be better for everything to be public and transparent. The Encrypted thing can be done with a thread tag.
