"Good morning from Moscow, and welcome back to FFN, Russia's first and foremost source for all news. Yesterday, many were celebrating the 130th anniversary of the October Revolution which brought the Russian Bolsheviks into power."
"Many thousands of left-wingers took to the streets today to celebrate this event all across Russia, from St. Petersburg - emphatically called Leningrad by many socialists and communists - to Vladivostok. In St. Petersburg, particularly, a large rally marched to the winter palace emulating the protestors of 1905 and the leader of the anarcho-syndicalists, Georgy Junkov, spoke out in outstanding support of socialist values."
The camera changed to that of a clip of Junkov at a podium outside of the winter palace.
"Today is a historic day in leftist history, in the long and difficult struggle to fighting oppression and bureaucracy in pursuit of equality and liberty. Today, the leaders of old can rest easy knowing we still fight for their views, but importantly, not in their name... for we cannot hold on to their dated beliefs forever. Times change, and the days of personality cults are over. To be willing to criticize men fairly like Lenin and Stalin today, is to be an open, honest, and intelligent person. That is why I say, now, that we have more people to thank besides the obvious. Prime Minister Voronov, for allowing us workers to arm ourselves [OOC note: this refers to one of my pieces of legislation: you can have -1 generation weaponry, gun laws are significantly lessened in their harshness] and form militias for our own safety! Molchanov, for falling in tune with worker's demands for rights, while not total, but well enough compared to other bourgeois! I reiterate my support to the government that is fighting the reactionaries of the AEDP and ECA, who oppress their workers daily, as part of a daily routine as the bread that they eat. More people to thank are..."
The clip cuts out and transitions back to the female news anchor's face.
"As of now, using today, many delegates in the Duma are using today to push legislation as the formation of worker's militias, decentralized school systems, and wealth redistribution laws. While unlikely to make the cut, it definitely shows a rising support for labor elements in Russia. Next up, our story on the LDPR.."
