Well, considering that North Korea and South Korea are united, there would be no tensions between the North and the South as of the 2040s. Maybe some NK rebels, who could be united with the GLA in their stance for a "free Korea," but the North would've been merged with the South. As for the source of my info, it comes straight from the Warzone Timeline located in the Rules forum. As of 2029, North and South Korea had been in a vicious tug-of-war until the US intervened, along with Japan, and ended North Korea's government.

North and South Korea still has struggles against each other. For the long range of cold war amongst these countries, combine with the North attacking the South and the South eventually the North with help from Japan. However, if indeed Mr Kim Jong-un is dead accordingly to the history, then I suggest his son, Kim Jong-ix is the next in line to lead the North. Yet being captured instead of his dead father. How does this sound?

It sounds fair, and could add to the tension and plans of the GLA/Omar.
