Introductory Words: Formations are at the core of the roleplay's military structure. Each country has its own unique starting amount of formations based upon lore. Usually, the consistent military formations you will see being mentioned in battle plans are divisions or above, given that a military operation to secure all interests requires a vast amount of forces to mobilize and ready for war.
Note: Various methods of battle will be changing, so this will change accordingly to what changes, including if certain systems are removed/added. And remember, the Unique Attributes are but a unique idea, and are open to CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

North American Union
Unique Attributes:
- Aerial & Naval Domination: The United States of America is world-famous for its navy and air force. Not only does it possess greater capability with both, but it is one of the few nations in the world to possess hyper-sonic aircraft, and possesses the most naval vessels across the globe at the start. [NAU naval vessels are more accurate and faster & NAU aircraft are harder to hit]
- Multi-Strategy Doctrines: Due to all North American communications being relayed to a central military staff in the Pentagon, a variety of military doctrines are in order for each formation, making each major NAU formation that much more diverse in their battle tactics. [Adds in "Hold the Line," "Search and Destroy," & "Bombardment" doctrines for different formations. Adds a respective bonus to each force's attacking, defending, and recon abilities.]
- Drone Warfare: The North American Union is prided in not only its aerial & naval domination, but its advancements in the art of casualty reduction through drone warfare. Drones are much more easily available nowadays, but are less effective in pushing a charge. [Decreases effectiveness of automated formations by -1 on battle rolls.]

People's Republic of China
Unique Attributes:
- Volunteering Citizens: The Red Guard branch of the PLA is considered legendary, despite their stunted combat prowess in comparison to that of true, full-time members of the military. While they make up over half of China's standing armed forces, due to their shorter training time, they are not fully trained in the ways of the battlefield. [Two Red Guard Divisions per month rather than one, but possess a decreased rolling standard of 2]
- Nationalistic Spirit: While the Red Guard may be the flesh and blood that make up the Chinese armies, it is Chinese propaganda that makes up the soul of the People's Liberation Army. Chinese secret police, internet censors, and a variety of other fail-safes instated by the Chinese government in both the GAPA and their homeland make the covering up of various incidents easier. [Less political fallout from inside Chinese borders from the use of controversial wartime tactics, including napalm and nuclear weapons, and a boost +1 roll boost to all forces in a division for 2 posts after the use of propaganda on the battlefield]
- Nuclear Genius: China is world famous for being one of the few nations on the Earth not to have forgone total nuclear power for both military use and for civilian use. Their expertise in the field of nuclear physics has given them an edge against world-renowned nuclear powers such as the Russian Federation and United States, to the point where they have been able to construct working fission reactors the size of refrigerators and even produce a sizable amount of nuclear materials through their breeder reactor programs for use on the battlefield. [Armor formations that are built with nuclear tanks will increase attacking rolls by +1 on the battlefield, and all tactical nuclear weapons gain a boost from breeder reactors in heavy bases.]
Operating Capital Vessels: 33 [2 are required to be aircraft carriers & 20 are required to be nuclear submarines]
Naval Commands: North Sea Fleet, South Sea Fleet, East Sea Fleet, West Seas Fleet
Super Weapons: 7 Mobile Tactical Nuclear Erector Launcher Sites
Global Liberation Army
Unique Attributes:
- Guerrilla Warfare: It was and remains very well known that the Global Liberation Army is a guerrilla warfare faction. Taking into account that the Global Liberation Army still possesses a variety of cloaking technologies and stealth-based strategies, it comes to no surprise that ambushes set by the GLA are more dangerous than other nations, and even a small force of ambushing rebels can be more dangerous in a sneak attack than out in the open. [The Global Liberation Army formations gain +2 to standard attacking rolls when ambushing, and enemy forces wandering into GLA-controlled territory will be ambushed regardless.]
- Tunnel Networks: Throughout the Middle East and Europe, it was found that the Global Liberation Army constructed tunnels around many battlefields to transport their forces more securely and much more quickly than that of their enemies. One primarily terrifying reality in the Global War on Terror was that of a "Technical-Terror Rush," which was composed of several technicals emerging from nearby tunnels with suicide bombers in them to cause severe damage to bases and enemy forces during an ambush. [GLA forces move to locations in half the time it would normally take when using tunnel networks, but only two GLA cells can use a tunnel network at any given point, and tunnel use must be built outside of GLA-controlled territories.]
- The Black Market: While the black market has been used by all nations at one point or another to buy certain goods or items that could not normally be achieved on the global market, the Global Liberation Army holds the greatest amount of leeway within black markets across the world. They can buy old, stored technologies from other nations and sometimes a nuclear weapon if the materials become readily available in it. Not only do the GLA acquire a vast amount of their technologies off of the black market, but they also acquire a substantial amount of funding off it as well through diamond, drug, and human trafficking. It is also well-known that the GLA will place considerable bounties in North American dollars to attract mercenaries from both their own territory and outside of it. [Capable of "buying" other nations' older equipment for pay, and capable of influencing the trade of goods through piracy. Bounties to three enemy forces at a time can be given out on the Black Market to use mercenaries or the hired forces of a nation rather than basic militants against enemies for more direct confrontation.]
Operating Capital Vessels: 8 Vessels [1 is required to be a refurbished 1940s-era aircraft carrier & 2 are required to be refurbished 1940s-era battleships]
Naval Commands: N/A [They hire private forces companies and pirates to do naval work]
Super Weapons: 2 "SCUD Storm" Platforms, 1 makeshift long-range ballistic missile platform [no missiles, must make/steal materials and missiles]
Russian Federation
Unique Attributes:
- Patriotic Zeal: The Russians are known for their extreme patriotism, especially in war. When one of their comrades-in-arms dies, they will fight to avenge the deaths of each and every one of their fallen. One of the greatest examples of this in history was the Siege of Leningrad, where Soviet soldiers picked up their comrades' weapons when they had fallen to German forces. [When over 40% of the forces in a formation are killed, the respective formation gains a +1 in their standard battle dice roll.]
- Advanced Special Operations Forces: Russia is not only well-known for its military history, but its special ops forces. Spetsnaz GRU operatives, VDV Airborne Forces, and Naval Infantry are powerful in their own right, and are recognized on the battlefield as such. [Special Forces formations, such as VDV, Naval Infantry, and Spetsnaz operatives from GRU add a +2 in their battle roll rather than a +1. Patriotic Zeal also applies towards them.]
- Russian Ingenuity: The Russians are an industrial and powerful people, creating equipment and weapons that are built to last. As proof of this, look to Kalashnikov rifles, which lasted from the late 1940s until the mid 2030s with their design remaining near-consistent throughout. This is also reflected in their tank designs and battle tactics, which have remained either consistent or improved upon since time-immemorial. [Russian tank formations add +1 to battle rolls of all kinds, +2 if golems are present, and +3 if sentinels or triglavs are present. There is also a fixed increased casualty rate of 10% more troops killed from Russian tank formations.]
Operating Formations: 19 Divisions [2 are required to be a Spetsnaz Division & 4 are required to be VDV Divisions]
Operating Capital Vessels: 28 Naval Vessels [1 is required to be an aircraft carrier, 4 are required to be missile cruisers, & 16 are required to be nuclear submarines]
Naval Commands: Northern Fleet, Baltic Fleet, Black Fleet, Russian Pacific Ocean Fleet, & Caspian Flotilla
Super Weapons: 6 Tremor Advanced Grand Artillery Systems [1 is required to be present in all four military districts at their major bases, and 1 is required to be present in Kurmuk], 9 TBCM silos, 18 Yars Erector Launchers

Anglo-European Defense Pact
Note: The AEDP currently has only 1 unique attribute to it, due to idea constraints. However, this one unique attribute counts as two, due to it affecting two forces at the same time.
Unique Attributes:
Operating Capital Vessels: 25 Vessels [2 are required to be aircraft carriers & 4 are required to be nuclear submarines]
Naval Commands: M-A Force, M-B Force, H-A Force, & Nuclear Submarine Patrol
Super Weapons: 4 TBCM platforms
Unique Attributes:
- Euro-Shield & Anglo-Spear Strategy: The Anglo-European Defense Pact is markedly different from that of the European Continental Alliance. Instead of one set of Armed Forces, it possesses two: one to act as the shield, and one to act as the spear that thrusts from behind. These armed forces both possess their own branches and grand strategies unique to them and them alone: the European Continental Army acts in a much more defensive manner, keeping to older World War doctrines to keep their allies safe from harm, while the fully independent British Armed Forces acts as a highly mobile, aggressive army that pushes past the ECA's defensive walls and units and presses an attack forwards. Both work in tandem brilliantly, and are commended for their ingenuity in war. [The European Continental Army gains the capability to build Fortress Bases, while the British Armed Forces, given their high mobility, can move to a desired location in 25% less time (multiply by .75). The ECA gains +1 on defensive battle rolls, +2 if they are inhabiting a fortress base, and the BAF gains +1 on offensive battle rolls, +2 if they have fire support from ECA forces as well.]
