I think I understand it. Maby I will make mistakes, but I should learn quickly.
Question about the army. All the groups, how big are they? if I have 1 giant group, and split them, do I need to dice as giant group or as smaller groups?

Splitting one formation into smaller formations means more dice of lesser numbers (splitting a division into brigades will mean you'll get 2-5 dice, depending on how many brigades you had in a specific division). As for the formations and their sizes, a good place to look at formation sizes for ground forces is on Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_organization#Commands.2C_formations_and_unitsNow, since your training is complete, I would suggest making a faction announcement to announce China's stances, what its plans are, and other such things (News report, most likely). I've trained you as best as I could, but if you need more assistance, we're all here to help. ^^

thank you for the help.
I think the combat mechanics are the hardest now to understand. I might need help with that when China will go to war. Just to do by the system.
I will make an announcement. Only thing I need is the Army Base and the starting numbers of China please.
Let's have fun

I would suggest consulting Retroliser [ Archibald Stanford, Edmund Wilson] about those kinds of numbers for China. He has better understanding on the numbers themselves, while I try to explain the system as simply as possible.

Hi, I am Wang.
It is about the Army Base. Dmitry Russian told me about it. I don't know how to set it up. I don't know the numbers. I don't know how to train soldiers.
Can you help me?

Well, from what I remember, an army base is simply a record of where your divisions are currently stationed throughout the world. My suggestion would be to set up a thread in your faction information base where you can keep it safe from pry eyes like mine. As an example, here's what I'd put for your starting numbers, which is 15 divisions.
Chinese Order Of Battle1st Army: (Location Here, ex: Beijing) 1st Corps: 1st Division 2nd Division 3rd Division 4th Division 5th Division
2nd Corps: 6th Division 7th Division 8th Division 9th Division 10th Division
3rd Corps: 11th Division 12th Division 13th Division 14th Division 15th Division
This set up means that you have everything organised in an easy to read manner, allowing you to split your Corps up into smaller ones and juggling round your command structure so that you can tailor it to your strategic needs. However, keep in mind that if for example, I wanted to deploy 1st Corps to Hanoi, Vietnam from Beijing, China, I'd need to calculate the distance it'd take to travel there by ship, which I assume you are aware of, if not then I can explain further. As you can see 1st Army has a location tag next to it, this means that everything under it, 1-3 Corps and all their divisions, is at the same location. If you were to keep them all under the same command, but have them dispersed, then you'd have to add additional location tags to those that are else where. So for example, that 1st Corps being deployed to Vietnam would get a tag saying (Hanoi) next to it while the 1st Army will remain with the (Beijing) tag.
You can even split divisions from the Corps, like having 5th Division from 1st Corps leave Hanoi to go to Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City, meaning you'd need to add a tag to that individual division.
Finally, in regards to training more soldiers, What is currently being discussed is that divisions are intimately connected to how big the population of the countries you control has. A Roleplay Set Up post will soon be posted that possesses a list of the worlds nations and a set of numbers. For example:
USA: 328, 16 & 1, 8
What's being provided here is the nation's name, how many divisions the country can support, how many barracks they possess and their capital, and finally, dry docks.
A barracks, along with the capital, provides the amount of divisions you can have being trained each month. So, for The USA, every month, they can train 17 new divisions, if they provide a post in their information base, preferably underneath the Army Base, explaining that's what they have planned.
Dry docks are the same, but they instead produce ships instead, which the mechanics and times are still being settled on at this time. So for the time being, there won't be any training or ship building, but I am hoping to get the lists done very soon.
Any questions, sir?

Yes I do. Thanks.
I understand so far. But how much can I train every month? And does it require to put details to groups of soldiers? or is it just big number calculations? And how much do I have at the start?
Perhaps if I know this all, I will try work it out. Can I use Excel for this? Maby we need to play a combat or war to understand the choices, numbers, deaths, dice and stuff.

It's definitely more of a "get your hands into it" kind of situation that helps you understand how battles and Army Bases work.

OK. So is it yet decided how much troops I have? And is there a differents between Tanks, Infantry and Aircraft (and the rest obviously) also, with this battle system of numbers? Wang

I forgot to practise battle.
Can I get training for this?

Yes, you may. Would you prefer training with the current system, one of the new systems in discussion, or both?

I forgot this thread again. My bad.
Well, I am not aware that there is a new system? I guessed it is still negotiable? So originally, I was thinking for the current one. Or I might be mistaken
