(OOC Note: The test takes place over a month before the invasion of Arstotzka. Sorry if that wasn't clarified, but due to time screwing everything up, I think I have to clarify)
"Good morning Russia. While the debacle of the mass nuclear test from two days ago is finally reaching a stable equilibrium across Russia and CSTO borders, and life is returning to normal, something stirs in GLA-controlled Africa that threatens that very equilibrium. As of this moment, Russia has identified an above-ground test of a nuclear weapon by the Global Liberation Army. This is a very disconcerting threat that cannot be ignored. While President Molchanov hides within the Kremlin forging plans to deal with the Eurasian Collectivists, he has seemingly forgotten the humiliation that the GLA put us through." Immediately, an image of Dmitry in another news room was shown, surprising the anchor in the room.
"President Molchanov...I-I wasn't expecting-"
"Do not worry. I am here to put Russian concerns of the GLA down once and for all."
"Well-" the anchor then cleared his throat as President Molchanov waited, "So, Mr. President. What is it you plan to do with the Global Liberation Army?"
"I plan to fight the GLA face to face! The Russian Federation and the CSTO has had an operation plan in the works for months since the formation of the Collectivists to not only fight the Arstotzkan enemies to the west, but the terrorist threat in Africa. However, seeing that the GLA is in clear violation of not only the Unilateral Disarmament Treaty, but the Limited Test Ban Treaty, I believe that Russia as no choice but to focus its military might towards the GLA! As soon as the operations against the Collectivists are set in motion, the GLA will keep to its binds in both treaties and bring the GLA to an end once and for all!"
"What part do the Collectivists play in this?"
"They may be supplying the GLA with weapons, putting them as a high-risk factor, especially in the supply of long range weapons."
"Well...thank you Mr. Molchanov. It's good to know that the Kremlin has a plan in the works.
"Indeed. Well, that is as much time as I can provide for this."
"Have a good day Mr. President." The President's image then turned off, leaving the anchor to take a deep breath as he went on with the day's news.
